Sam was born under a dock in the port of Fremantle before he made his way to Beanie Island. Starting out as a scrawny teenager, he quickly built up his muscles lifting huge anchors over his head. His favourite pastime is eating flake and chips on the beach. When people see him on the beach the yell “Look a man eating shark!” Today he is a powerhouse player for Freo with his strong marking and accurate goal kicking skills. When Sam gets going he is unstoppable.
