It’s nearly that time again when the weather gets warmer and the jolly man in the red suit comes to visit! Have you asked Santa for any Beanie Kids this Christmas? I’d love to know which ones!

There are plenty of bears to choose from this Christmas. Doug the Christmas Dog Bear is waiting to bark out some Christmas Carols for you while Skates the Reindeer Bear would love to take you for a spin on the ice!

Angelina the Angel Cat Bear and Mary the Elf Bear would make a lovely addition to any Christmas tree, and who knows, if you’ve been really good this year you might be lucky enough to find a rare Braddles or Josephine Bauble Bear with a Silver or Gold nose!

Plus if you like big presents then what you need is a Miss Chrissy Claus the Bear Cuddly Kid! Start making your list for Santa today so that he has enough time to pack them into his sack!

December is also the last month of the Pirates of Beanie Island Collect and Get Program have you collected all the pirate booty you’re entitled to? The program finishes on the 31^st of December so make sure you have all your crew!

A little monkey has just whispered some news that will excite all you serious collectors. On eBay Skansen Brands are currently holding a one time only auction of a complete set of  Ultra Rare Pirates of the Beanie Island Beanie Kids with their very own plush pirate ship!!! Skansen has never offered a full set of the Ultra Rare Pirates before this and there were only ever fourteen complete sets made of these guys, so this truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity! What an amazing Christmas gift that would be for a lucky treasure hunter!

Hello Beanies!


Some of you may have noticed that there is a new section on the Beanie Kids Website called “Classics” and I thought it was time to let you all know exactly what this is.


From September we will be re-releasing some of our most beloved Beanie Kids as part of the Beanie Kids Classics range. These Classics will have all new swing-tags and buttons to show that they are different from the original releases. In September there will be five Beanie Kids Classics released, with more being released in the following months. The Classics will not be monthly releases like regular Beanie Kids but new sets will come out from time to time.Some of you have been concerned about this affecting the value of the original Beanie Kids. Let me assure you that the originals will still be just as valuable as they are now, since the Classics will clearly be labeled as a different bear. In fact, your original bears may become even more valuable as new collectors discover the World of Beanie Kids through the Classics Range and want to find the original bears also!

It sounds like we have some fantastic new BKs joining us on the Island next month, including a couple of sporty BKs to help celebrate the Olympics! The second prize winning design for the 2011 Design-A-Bear competition is also being released - Moonlight the Fairy Bear!

Have you entered our latest Treasure Hunt competition yet? Can you find Ripple’s Cannonballs? The hunt runs for the entire month of July. Winners will be announced on the 3rd of August.

There are 8 cannonballs to find. And you must find all of them to enter the competition. (Tip: the lost cannonballs will be at the top of the page)

So if you see the cannonball icon on the left-hand side of any page on the Beanie Kids Website, it means you have found a cannonball! Click on the cannonball and it will automatically be added to you virtual cannonball treasure chest. And remember, you must find all 8!
