BK Do-It-Yourself | Posted: July 14th, 2010
Hi Beanie Fans!
It has been a while since we had a recipe blog so Rosemary the Chef asked me to share one of her favorite recipes with you all - Tasty French Toast!
This recipe is great as a holiday treat! Make sure that you have the help of an adult. You will need…
6 bread slices
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon oil
Instructions…
1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat them with a whisk.
2. Add the milk, sugar and cinnamon to the egg and stir well.
3. Dip each slice of bread into the mixture separately. Make sure you get both sides of each slice.
4.With the help of an adult, fry the bread in a frypan or griddle pan on each side for 2-3 minutes (medium heat). Press gently on your toast with a masher or spoon to make sure it gets nice and crispy in the center!
This recipe serves 3 (two slices each).
To make it extra special try topping your french toast with some maple sryp or cream cheese!
Hope you enjoy this tasty treat!
Bon Appetit!

Beanie Kids Did You Know's,
Competition Corner | Posted: June 2nd, 2010
Hi Beanie Fans!
I just wanted to say congratulations to our two winners of the Guess Who’s Coming to Visit competition. It was a very tricky competition!
Congratulations to…
- The King Family
- Bradley Lee
So what was the answer you ask…?
The following Beanies have come to us from the United States of America!
- Mojo and Jojo the Jaffa puppies
- Dixie the Disco Girl
- Tracy the Soccer Girl
How can you tell…?
Their birth-dates are written differently! In America they write dates differently to in Australia and New Zealand. Here we write dates like this, day/month/year. In America they write dates month/day/year! That is why it seemed like some of our May releases were released before they were even born - their birth-dates were written in the American way!
Did you guess the answer?? It was pretty tricky! Congratulations to our winners!
Happy Beanie Hunting!
