Beanie Kids Blog - Can’t Play Earth Rescue?

Hi Beanie Fans.

Some people have said that when they load up the new Space Monsters: Earth Rescue game that it shows up blank or nothing happens. There are a few reasons why this might happen:

This could be because your computer does not have the latest Flash Player installed.
All Beanie Kids games are made with Flash - which is a computer program used for animations and games for websites. And to play the very latest games you need to make sure you have the latest version of Flash.

Another reason why nothing might happen when you try to play the game is because your computer might disable pop-ups (also called a ‘popup blocker’). The latest beanie games open up in a popup window to play. When trying to play a game and nothing happens when you click the button that says “Launch in a new window »” then your computer has popups turned off. You should ask mum or dad to turn them back on so you can play the games - they are completely safe for your computer!

The last reason it may not work is that you do not have a Secret Access Code to play the game. Space Monsters: Earth Rescue is a Secret Access Code game like Hoop Shooting. All new release April beanie kids have a secret access code to play this game. You can find out more about secret access code games here

To play the Earth Rescue game you need an April code which are on the April bears (a March bear will only have codes that work for March).

But if you type in an April code and then try to type in a March code later it will not work either, because your April code is newer and will still allow you to play the March game.

So to answer your question, you got this message because you may have already typed an April code then tried to type a march code - this did not work because your march code is older than your april code because april code will work for both!

You need the latest Flash Player because this is a much bigger game than hoop shooting! Hoop shooting was very small with only 2 levels and so did not need the newest player. This game is really big, with 6 levels, different weapons, 6 different characters, different bad guys. Its like Crystal quest but heaps better This is why it needs the latest flash player to run!

You can tell your parents that to stay up to date they should get the latest Flash player anyway, otherwise they will not be able to view the latest and greatest websites - like BeanieKids.com

If you read my other post here it says:

“f you enter the new code for April you won’t be able to enter an old code from March because the April code works for March games too. (but a March code does not work for April games). So if you have already entered an April code and are worried because you can’t enter a March code - don’t worry, you can still play Hoop Shooting with your April access code.”

I hope that helps. April codes do not work for all games, but they will work for March months game.

When you enter a secret access code the code is saved to the fan club account you are signed in on. So to play the game again make sure you are signed in on the same account you entered the code for.

The april code will work for april and march and the march code will only work for march.

If you are not sure what beanie kid release you have, check with your stockist. The new release beanie kids are on the left side of the website and they are the ones who will have the codes for the latest game
