Hi Beanie Fans!

As you know the Wanted promotion which searched for six special Beanie Kids has now ended.

Here is a message from Skansen…

Thank you to everyone who responded to Skansen’s offer to buy 6 rare Beanie Kids for $1400.00. We were ecstatic at the amount of responses received with plenty of collectors offering to sell us the individual bears, but unfortunately those lucky few who had the ‘whole batch’ just didn’t want to part with their beloved Beanie Kids. Skansen & The Beanie Master wish to thank all the Beanie Kids members for their enthusiasm and feedback to this promotion.

So thanks to everyone who responded and to those collectors who do have all of those six special BKs - what a great collection!

Why would Skansen want those six bears shouldnt they already have one of each in thier collection beacause shoudnt they just make them and keep one

    They were the first BKs, many collectors lucky to have them all probably wouldn’t sell them. They are all worth alot.

Could it be that anyone who has these beanies has a lot more than $1400 worth of beanies in their hands and that Skansen didn’t keep any of them initially because they didn’t know how well they would sell.
