Nutella Slice - Yum!

Hi Beanie Fans

Miss Beanie was baking up a storm yesterday and she made this FANTASTIC Nutella slice. I thought you all might like to try the recipe too.

Make sure that you have an adult’s help with this recipe.slice228.jpg

You will need these ingredients…

  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 375g or 1 1/2 cups of butter, melted
  • 600g Nutella or hazelnut spread

This is how you make this tasty treat…

  • Ask an adult to preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Line a  baking pan (23 x 33cm) with baking paper.
  • In a bowl, place the flour, baking powder, salt, oats and brown sugar. Stir together.
  • Pour in the melted butter and stir to combine.
  • Set aside 2 cups of the mixture and press the remainder into the bottom of the pan.
  • Heat the Nutella in the microwave for 1 minute and then pour it over the mixture that you have pressed into the baking pan.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the mixture over the Nutella.
  • Ask an adult to help to bake it for 25 minutes or until golden. Then leave it to cool and slice into squares or bars.

And hey presto - yummy Nutella slice! You will love it!

Happy Baking!
The Beanie Master
