What is the secret code on the Beanie Kid swing tag?
Online Games & Competitions
Since August 2011, all new releases of our Beanie Kids have a secret code featured on a second swing tag.
This code allows you access to online games and competitions. For example, to enter the Design-a-Bear Competition in August & September you needed to purchase any new release for that month, go online and enter the code to get access to the enter the competition.
In September, October, November a secret code was required from Nelly the Kitten Bear, Chloe the Calf Bear and Huggie thePuppy Bear to get access to the online Virtual Pet Game.
Collect & Get Program 2012
The secret codes on the Beanie Kids that you purchase in 2012 will be very valuable as they are the ‘key’ to participating in the Collect & Get program for 2012.
The 2012 Collect & Get will be launched on 1st January, 2012. To participate in the Collect & Get 2012 you must:
1. Enter the secret code located on the swing tag. Log onto beaniekids.com and create your own virtual Collect & Get passport.
Once you have created your virtual online passport you can start participating in the ‘Collect & Get’ program.
For every six secret codes you enter (6 Beanie Kid purchases) you will be entitled to redeem a ‘not for retail’ Beanie Kid from the ‘Collect & Get’ program.
Please note: Secret Codes cannot be used for the 2011 Redemption Program.
There will be more competitions and exciting online games in 2012, so make sure you stay tuned on beaniekids.com.

everybody thats not the bm he is a impersonator some stores tell the customers about the redemption bear for next year, that is how he/she knows, just to let you know if this was the real bm then the text box would be blue with a pic of his head

I got told that the “Collect and Get” program is just another name for the “Redemption” program. Apparently the codes needed to compelete the set are now being attached to the bears because there have been so many complaints about stockists not giving the code stickers with the purchase of bears (or giving the wrong amount, ie 1 per total purchase rather than one per bear)
Apparently stores will receive stickers to be given out when an older bear is purchased (the ones who dont have the code attached already), but having the codes aready attached should make it easier for everyone in the long run.
I myself am looking forward to starting the “collect and get” program as I already have at least 15 codes
I already have 8 of the stickers and i am so excited to start next year
BUT ARE THE CODES WE ARE GETTING ON THE BEARS THIS YEAR GOING TO WORK FOR THE “COLLECT AND GET” PROGRAM NEXT YEAR???????? please answer my question the real BM!!!! :/
And also if they do work it is kinda weird because we are getting a head start kinda to start collecting codes for next year which we are never aloud to.

Hi Haley, umm there isn’t any where to enter the codes yet because the 2012 redemption program or there new name the “collect and get” program hasn’t started yet but it will probably come up on the first on january, and you enter it where you did for this years redemption program

OMG! This year’s are soooooooo C U T E!!!!!! I got Screech the other day. And it says he comes with 6 codes which made me think u get the next one (Eliza or something) as well as Screech. But u don’t. He DOES come with 6 codes but the codes only fill up HIS bar which is (no offence) kinda stupid ’cause u already have him so there’s no point in filling his bar up.
