IT’S ALMOST CHRISTMAS

0576-its-almost-christmas-01_1.jpgNormally I spend Christmas at home, but as you know, this year I’m on my vacation!

I’m staying in a lovely caravan park next to Beanie Beach. I’ve strung Christmas lights and decorations over the van and stuck out my ‘Santa Stop Here’ sign to make sure he finds me while I’m away. This afternoon I noticed this very strange caravan parked next to me. It was a caravan made from gingerbread! Then I noticed an unusual character walk out of the van. It was my good friend Nutmeg the Gingerbread man. “G’day Clyde” I yelled for a joke. Stop calling me that! Said Nutmeg. “Everyone keeps calling me Clyde.”

A little later a van in the shape of a sleigh pulled up. It was two of my old friends Dasher the Reindeer Bear and Freezy the Snowman Bear. After chatting for a while we all decided to spend Christmas together. I’m going to cook a turkey in the van and Nutmeg will bake a pudding. Freezy is going to make some of his famous home made ice cream.
