This is a story I'm writing because I've been bored.
This story is sort of true, parts are true, but the main story is a dream for me <3

Blurb -I’m Caitlin, bubbly, badly minded, and apparently funny.
I have the bestest buddy, Natalia. We have been friends for as long as I can remember.
One day I made a huge decision, the next day I’m on a plane, to a completely different state.
Did I make the right decision by going to meet her, or will she forget who I really am?
Chapter 1 -“Boarding flight G276, plane taking off in 20 minutes.” I heard the announcement call over, and I stood up. Today is the day, the day I put all the dreams behind me and put them into reality. As I board the plane, all those amazing memories and moments that we shared came flooding back. Now, it’s all a reality, in about 2 hours, I will be living the dream, the dream we wanted to share for so long.
I hear my text message ringtone go off, and I answer it. It was from Natalia, of course, and I just smiled.
Today’s the day, can’t wait to finally meet you, see in a while, I’ll be waiting! x :DD
I read it a few times over, and then quickly text her back:
Ahh yes, just boarded the plane then. See you in a while, iLY x
I put my phone away, and pull out my Ipod, and begin to listen to Amy Meredith. I remember the many times we shared Amy Meredith related stories, crossing from my dreams all the way to sharing amazing photos. A tear trickles slowly down my face, and I quickly wipe it away. It’s all coming true, finally, everything I could ever have wished for, was finally coming true.
Chapter 2The plane finally takes off, and my excitement rises as high as it can go. I’m grinning from ear to ear before we are even 5 minutes into the flight. This is one of my biggest wishes, and now we’re making it a reality.
Well, it all started about a 3 months ago. Me and Natalia discussed how awesome it would be to meet each other, and after a while, I was wishing for it every night. But I soon gave up hope when life got really tough, and I couldn’t cope with life and with waiting for the day that it was all going to come true.
This was until 3 weeks ago. I sat down with a discussion with Mum, and she said I could go see Amy Meredith live. I was over the moon, and when I didn’t think life could get any better, she said that she had somehow been in touch with Natalia’s mum, and they had organized me to fly over there for a week, and we would both fly back together to see Amy Meredith live, and she would go home after staying for a few days after. I was literally jumping in happiness when I found out, and Natalia had been surprised too.
Now, were into about 30 minutes of the trip, and I don’t think I can contain my excitement much longer!
Chapter 3:Finally! The plane touches down, and I just want to get off and run off, I am that excited! We are slowly let off the plane, and I grab out my passport and continue along to collect my luggage.
“We’re almost there.” I whispered to myself, as my belly flipped with excitement and nerves. The bags started to come around, and mine wasn’t there. The second time it passed around, mine still weren’t there. 3rd and 4th time, bags came and went, and I just waited and waited for what felt like hours.
Finally, after the 7th time the brown, leather bag had passed, mine followed behind it. I quickly took it and began to head out to the pick-up area.
When I arrived, I scanned the area for Natalia. But she was nowhere in my sight. Then, all of a sudden, an ear-piercing scream was let off, and I saw someone running full pace, straight at me.
Chapter 4:“CAAAAAAAAAAIIIITLIN!” I heard Natalia scream as she ran up to me. I ran over, and met her halfway, and we hugged. We hugged forever, it felt like she was never going to let go. When we finally parted, I could feel a tear trickling down my cheek. “I still can’t believe it” I just managed to say, before I was crying a lot, and Natalia hugged me and whispered “It’s ok, don’t cry bub”.
I saw her Mum walk over, she took my bags and we walked to her car, were we all piled in and I stopped crying. I pulled out my digital camera, and Natalia grabbed out hers and winked. We have planned to make a scrapbook, as a memory of the two weeks that we shared together. Even if we were just chilling at her place, or even back in Victoria for Amy Meredith’s live show, we kept our digital cameras on us; just in case we were in need of a picture.
To imagine, in a week and 3 days time, we were going to be partying our lives away with, none other than Amy Meredith. We were both excited as we could ever be, we have been Amy Meredith loving buddies ever since she got me hooked at the start of this year. Now, being so overly obsessed, we had ordered a t-shirt each just to wear to the concert and get it signed.
We had been traveling for about an hour now, getting to know each other a bit more and just laughing. “Not far now girls” Natalia’s mum said over the radio. I heard Faded White Dress begin to play. I placed a hand on my heart, and sheared a tear. Natalia and I sang our hearts out, it became our special song. (:
Chapter 5:We pulled into her driveway, and I placed a hand on my heart. Natalia looked at me strangely, like she was questioning what I was doing. I got out of the car, and stared up at the sky and whispered to myself “You answered every wish I gave you…”. I followed Natalia inside and she gave me a basic tour and took me to her room. We sat down, and I just stared at her and burst into tears.
I don’t remember a lot of what happened after that, all I know was I wouldn’t stop crying. I wanted that moment to never end, but unfortunately, every good moment goes fast. Before I knew it, it was dinner time. We ate dinner, and went back to chatting and getting to know each other better. And yes, that did include a lot of laughing.
As we were about to out the lights, I quickly said “1 week, 2 days now, getting closer.” And I flicked the light-switch off.
Chapter 6:I woke up, and the sun had only just started to rise. I pulled out my Ipod, because Natalia was still fast asleep. I dropped my bag onto the ground and it made a huge crash, but Natalia didn’t rise. She was sleeping like a rock. I put on the radio, as I was afraid I would wake Natalia if I played Amy Meredith and started singing to it. On The Floor By Jennifer Lopez started to play, and I burst out screaming along to the song, and failing at dancing along to it. “DARLING GET ON THE FLOOR, DARLING GET ON THE FLOOR. DARLING I WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO, GET ON THE FLOOR!” I screamed out, completely forgetting that Natalia was in the room. She woke up, and just watched my dancing. “Caitlin… Caitlin, CAITLIN!” Natalia tried to scream to me, but I couldn’t here her over my music. She busted out her mobile and texted me:
Umm, dude, BE QUIET WILL YOU, IT’S 7AM!
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled out my phone, viewed the message and turned around to see Natalia standing directly behind my back. She picked me and threw me on her bed. “Now, can I have another 2 hours or so to sleep, PLEASE!?” Natalia demanded. “Ok dude, I’ll go make some toast.” I replied. “You do that.” Natalia said, getting back into bed and going back to sleep.
Chapter 7:I wandered off into the kitchen, to go make some toast. “Now, if I was Natalia, where would I keep bread and a toaster?” I said to myself, just as I saw the bread. I hunted around for the toaster, but it didn’t seem to exist anywhere. I didn’t want to wake Natalia, but I wanted toast so bad!
I carefully entered Natalia’s room, and once again, she was asleep like a rock. I poked her, but she didn’t move. I thought my only method, was a sense of De Ja Vu. “LAST NIGHT, CAN’T REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED, WHERE DID WE GO?” I screamed, hoping with all my might that I would wake her up. Thankfully she rose, with steam flowing out of her ears. “DUDE, WHAT DID I JUST TEL-“ Natalia began, before I but in. “Hey dude, where do you keep the toaster?” I asked, as Natalia just stared at me. She whacked her palm against her face. “Dude, I swear I told you this – WE DO NOT OWN A TOASTER!” Natalia said, lying down again. “DUDE, HOW CAN A SANE PERSON NOT OWN A TOASTER!?” I screamed back in surprise. “Ugh, I’m getting up, but I swear your letting me sleep in tomorrow.” Natalia replied back and she sighed as she chucked on a jacket. “Fine then, what you go cereal-wise?” I asked, and Natalia rolled her eyes at me.
Chapter 8:After I was satisfied with a bowl of Corn Flakes (no toast, seriously?!) , Natalia woke her Mum to let her know we were going shopping for our Amy Meredith concert outfits. We left, with everything we could want, especially money.
I came with a list, just to be prepared. “Why do you need a list?” Natalia asked me, taking the list out of my pocket. “1, Blue strapless dress” Natalia read outloud. “Don’t do it…” I said, hoping she would stop there, but I was wrong. “2, Blue shoes and 3…” Natalia stopped, and I started laughing “… LEOPARD PRINT SUNGLASSES!?” Natalia read, and she burst out laughing. “Dude, you’re too obsessed.” Natalia said, thrusting the list back at me.
We arrived at the shops, and we ran wild, spending money like we had an unlimited budget. We passed a handbag shop, which had sunglasses; leopard print sunglasses. I bought them without even thinking.
+ Pictures of things bought on Page 2; if you would like to see them. +As we were leaving, Natalia obviously spotted someone she knew, and dragged me into a random shop. “Dude, hide, it’s Courtney.” Natalia said as she went out from the shop. I smiled to myself. “Oh yeah, sunglasses and meeting new people, this is the life” I said in a quiet whisper, putting my new sunnies on and looking in a mirror. I could overhear everything of what Courtney & Natalia were saying. “Dude, hey, haven’t seen you in a while, how have you been?” Natalia said, pulling Courtney over. “Oh hey dude, not doing a lot, just buying a few things.” Courtney replied. “Hey dude, your not in a rush right?” Natalia asked. “No, why is that?” Courtney asked. “Oh, you wanna come have lunch with me, got a little something for you.” Natalia replied, and turned around to the shop I was in and winked. “Sure, what’s my little surprise?” Courtney asked, anxious to find out what she was receiving. “Not really little, Caitlin.” Natalia said, signaling me to come over. I walked out, and all I remember is the massive grin on Courtney’s face. “CAAAITTTLIINNN!” Courtney screamed, as she ran over to me and hugged me. “OMG, I don’t believe it!” Courtney said again. “Come on Courtney, lets all have lunch together.” Natalia said, linking arms with me, and I linked arms with Courtney, and we walked off.
Chapter 9: We sat down and ate lunch. Well, Natalia ate her lunch, while Courtney was firing million of questions at me. “Dude, can I eat first? I didn’t sleep for long last night.” I stated, taking a chip off Courtney and eating it. “Dude, don’t go up that road…” Natalia said, eyeing me down and I just laughed. “Dude, I wanted to know where the toaster was, that was all.” I said, giving in. “OMG, duck Courtney.” Natalia said, pushing Courtney under the table. “Dude, what was that for?” Courtney asked. “It’s you know who.” Natalia replied, pointing out a group of boys for me. “Dude, help me up, I wanna see him!” Courtney said, holding out her hand and Natalia helped her back up. “Why did you do that?!” I asked Natalia. “What?” Natalia asked back. “It was nicer with Courtney under the table” I joked back, as Courtney slapped me.
After we had finished lunch, I said goodbye to Courtney. “Never gonna forget this, ever.” I said, giving her a massive hug. “Me either.” Courtney replied, hugging even tighter.
We strolled slowly back home, as I was trying to pull the tag off of my new sunglasses. Natalia just rolled her eyes as a put them on. “You do know, once you get over Amy Meredith, your not gonna need those anymore” Natalia said, and I just laughed. “So, time for toast.” I said, laughing and running ahead, with Natalia close at my heels. This is what friendship should be like <3
Chapter 10:The rest of my stay at Natalia’s went by so very fast. We had a lot of laughs, and I was doing a lot of hiding as I didn’t get killed or chucked on a bed again.
The time came where I packed up all of my stuff, and Natalia packed hers. We were on our way back to Melbourne, to see Amy Meredith live. We were so excited, it was only 4 days until the concert, and somehow, we won a winning set of tickets to meet them live.
We boarded the plane together, and I was running ahead, only because I cracked another toast joke. We took off, and began our two hour trip on the way back to Melbourne. We cracked a few jokes, had many laughs and I got punched countless times for cracking “I wonder if they are gonna serve toast on this plane” jokes.
When we finally arrived at Melbourne, Natalia was anxious about seeing where I lived. She was literally pacing back and forth, waiting for our bags to show up. When they did, she ran ahead, but turned back and asked “Wait, so who was picking you up?” I just laughed, and replied with “Just follow me dude.”
After piling into the car, another of those amazing memories we shared came flooding back into my brain. The special story we wrote together, an epic, disgusting classic! We had so much fun writing that, we made it continue on for days, and sadly I learnt so much about Greek Gods. That one thing, it bonded us closer in a way nothing else has.
I just looked at Natalia, smiled, and burst out laughing, with tears flowing down my face. She wiped them away, and I just hugged her, like I wasn’t gonna ever see her again, like she was gonna leave my life and never come back. I knew she would, cause she loved me that much ♥
Chapter 11:We arrived home, and I jumped out the car and ran inside really fast, because I accidentally cracked another toaster joke. I ran inside, hid in the corner of the kitchen and hugged my toaster and said “I missed you dude!” I found Natalia standing at my doorway, mouth wide open in surprise on how many Beanie Kids I owned. Yeah, I may own a hundred more than her, but, I have no argument here (;3).
After a nice relaxing afternoon, we sort of sat at the computer for two hours (well, I did, Natalia crashed after an hour cause I “got her up too early”
) staring at Amy Meredith pics, and commenting on Facebook saying we would be at their show, how much we are looking forward to it, how awesome they are, etc.
We spent our whole day laughing at each others jokes, and received so many slaps, either for toaster jokes or giving education Greek god info. At moments, we were rolling on the ground in laughter (another way that friendship should look like). We even got the opportunity to Facetime Courtney over Natalia’s Ipod Touch, and we had a good laugh with her. To imagine, in only 5 days, Natalia was sadly flying back to NSW, and I would never get to do all those plans we had planned. However, as a little treat, I was taking Natalia down to the Melbourne Luna Park, so she could compare the pair. This, obviously, was the moment where we were really going to have a blast. Well, not as much as the Amy Meredith concert, but it still means the same.
I never knew how close I could be to Natalia; sometimes it baffles me to think about what my life would have been like without her <3
Chapter 12:“It’s 8am in the morning girl, and we gotta go…” I sang, to the tune of Always Be Here by Dane Rumble. Natalia grabbed her bag, and off we went. Travelling to Luna Park was gonna be a while, well, that’s what Dad said. So we prepared ourselves, I wrote a list of toaster jokes and Natalia was getting ready to slap me at every second of the car trip. I had never felt as happy as I did with her; and without her, I really don’t know what I could do. 4 days until she left, 3 days until the Amy Meredith concert. “Means I’m gonna leave on a high, just remember that.” Natalia had said yesterday.
We arrived, and Dad dropped us off and left. We got there at 10am, just as it was opening. Dad was picking us up at 5pm, so we have a full 7 hours to run wild, singing Amy Meredith and cracking toast jokes! (xD)
We ran wild forever. We ate so much food, and I swear we went on every single ride there, including a few twice. We had so much fun, however my cheek did go the slightest bit red from all that slapping. We had the bet time, and by the time it hit lunchtime, I never wanted this day to end.
After drinking so much coke and eating a pile load of junk food, we were still up and on a high at midnight. “36 hours or 864 hours or 51840 minutes or 3110400 seconds until our time is officially up, and it’s the end of our special time.” I stated, a tear slowly trickling down my face. Natalia wiped it off, and said “Dude, it’s all good, your biggest wish of all time came true, and nothing could have topped this time. I will never forget this, this really did mean more to me than I made it seem.” Natalia said, and she hugged me. I never wanted to let go; I wanted time to spot, so that moment never passed. ♥
