The Guardian

This is just a new story which i am writing. this is only a little bit of it...so enjoy!!!!!

Preface

Have you ever got that bizarre feeling that it seems that someone or something is looking over you?
It is said that everyone has a guardian. and they say that when a person dies, that guardian dies along with them for the guardians can only have one master.
They are all alike... all except one.
What makes my guardian different to th rest of her kind is that she is...my best friend.

Chapter 1 New beginnings; new friends

Everynight it was the saem.
Every night I, Katherine Harrison, would run from the deadly red eyes which seem to go everywhere that I went. and everynight, i would wake up just before a flame of fire appeared in the darkness.
But tonight was different.
The fire encirled us trapping My haunter and I in my firey blaze. My haunter let out a dangerous chuckle, freighting me with the glare of his merciless eyes.
I thought that it was all real, but when my eyes sanpped opened, i realized that it was only a dream, I mean, we all have to wake up sometime, don't we?
I clutched my pounding heart which was racing. My breath had gone rigid and uncontrollable. My forehead had broken out into a layer of sweat, and my quilt was tangled up with my legs.

This is kinda of the rest of what I've got.

Finally, after only a few short, breif moments of stillness and the only sound made was my rigid breathing, my heart managed to slow down and my breath had regained eveness. I sloly turned my head to face my digital alarm clock. it was only two in the morning.
'Great, only five more hours of sleep left,' I thought grumpily.
I lyed back down and attempted to fall back to sleep. i rolled a few times before finally falling into a dreamless sleep.

"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP' the sound of my irratating alarm clock shook through me and woke me up from my deep slumber. i groaned and rolled over to slam the button down. Curse those who made alarm clocks.
I rubbed my eyes and sat up in my bed. my blurry eyes cleared and i took in the surroundings of my bedroom.
It has always had the same lavendar purple walls which were slightly faded. The same photograph of my beloved mum, dad, Uncle Gerry and Aunt Christina. The box which contained my prized black opal sat obn my bedside table. It was rare black opal which my Aunt Christina had given to me when i was really young.
She died when i was really young also.

I got out of bed and headed foor the kitchen to make myself some brekfast. While I was getting my usual peanut butter on toast, I heard foot steps against the wooden floors. they echoed through out the hallways.
