And, as a word of warning, the first few "Chapters" aren't really chapters, they introduce the story.</sub>


Chapter 1 - Childhood

Of course, one does not start hating the world without some serious provocation. And, of course, the young boy definitely was provoked into hate.

It started in pre-school. The boy was just sitting down for the class relaxation time (really just sleep time) when he was hit in the face with a lunchbox. The boy asked the hitter (another boy) to stop - he didn't. Ten minutes later, with blood running down his face, the second boy finally stopped - the teacher was walking by. The second boy acted like he was sleeping, and got a gold star for it. The teacher ignored his cries for help. That was when the boy started reviewing his faith in authority.

Then, a few months later. It was the first day of primary school. The teacher wrote up all of the names on the whiteboard. As the boy walked in to the class, he saw that his name wasn't on the board. He thought it was an accident, and that the teacher forgot - or that he was maybe in the wrong classroom. It was okay, it was okay...

It wasn't okay. When the teacher called the attendance list ("roll", the school called it), his name was on it and was mentioned by the teacher. That was when the boy started reviewing his faith in his memory.

Six months later, in Art class. The boy wasn't talented at art, and the class knew it. He kept getting teased by the class for it, too. The same boy that hit him with the lunchbox was in his class, too - and, worse, he had became the ringleader of his troupe of performing circus monkeys (really just his gang of bullies). The boy kept picking on him, as all he could draw in Art was a stick figure in front of a wonky house. That was when the boy lost his faith in humanity.

You may argue that six years old was too young for a boy to make decisions like that. But, when your family loves your sister more than you, and your class worships that boy more than you - what else could you do?
