A New Year. A New Us.
Maddy Mail wishes all it's readers a safe and happy 2012. 2011 was a great year and rushed by fast.

It's a Bird! It's a Plane! No, it's a Beanie Angel!
A new status has been reached on the beanie kid forum recently. On January 01, 2012, 06:27:15 PM NeverSayNever made it to Beanie Angel. Lots of members have been wishing the true angel congratulations and I do too!

I interviewed  Amber to see what she thinks about her latest achievement. She says, "It feels amazing to make a new status, knowing you're the first person ever in loads of people to reach something so high." She also said on the stars "Yes, I do like them, seeing as it was my idea I liked the stars before they were actually created. The white user on the list is a little hard to see but I love being a ghost" She told Maddy Mail that it takes 75,000 posts to get to BA.

Congratulations Amber, and good luck on the road to the next status!

Rad Redemption!
2012 sees a range of pirate bears exclusively for the beanie kid website members. These are special bears only to be redeemed by buying other bears and recieving codes. After you buy 6 beanies and get 6 codes you are eligible to redeem a bear.

This year, you have to buy an extra BK, Screech the Monkey bear. The website says he costs $30. There are 6 other bears you can get, too.

To redeem the other 6 beears, it will cost $432. But added the supposed extra $30 will make that $462. It seems each year the program is changing. The redemptions used to be minis, with stamps, and grew into normal sized bks and the passport came online. Then, this year they added the Screech. Is it too much?
