Life's Unfair - Still In Writing - By Tamara

Ok so I've been working on this lately and thought I'd share it with you all (:

Blurb: Starting High school as a year seven. Big place. Fights break out. Blood stains on walls. Smoke and fires. First year in a new school as a year seven, Claira Smith keeps her friends close and her enemies as far away as possible. It's a dangerous place at St. Burg High with bullies, phycos, weird teachers and people who just seem to watch your every move. Claira soon begins to learn of what is instore for her and why her friends seem to be sucked into it all. Can she manage to stay sane and able to avoid it or will she be sucked into it all and loose her grip on sanity?

Chapter One:
So my name is Claira Smith and it's my first day as a year seven at St. Burg High, suppose to be a dangerous place to attend. For a bad start it's raining so my mum is driving me to the place. I'm nerves on how I'll do for the first day but the rain splahing onto the window seems to calm me down. Me and my four friends have decided on meeting up at the front so we can figure out where to go and not loose eachother. "You excited Claira it's your first day in year seven?" mum asked. "Not really." I said back. She ignores my reply and continues to babble about the school. "It seems to sound like a lovely place, a little expensive but just lovely. On the other hand the uniform you have to wear it is very dull." mum said. The uniform we were given was black. Completly black. Everytime we wear must be black or it'll be taken away from us for a week. The car pulls to a stop. "Have a good day!" mum said. I bolt from the car walking away to my four friends. Lilly, Sara, Angie and Kendra smile and wave. It may turn out to be a good day after all.

Chapter Two:
"Claira! You're finally here, about time." Kendra said walking over. I give her a quick pat on the head. "Traffic is my excuse." I lied. We walk into the school grounds finding it in a messy and broken state. glass bottles cover the ground, smoke packets, rubbish and stained red stuff on the concrete. "Is that blood!?" Lilly jumped behind me. She points down to near my black dress shoe. "Ew." I muttered. Loud laughter, cruel laughter catch us from behind. I turn around to look. Three large girls with black and brown hair surround a girl throwing her bag aorund th circle. The girls harshly shove the girl back and forth, back and forth. "Stop it! Stop and give it back!" She sobbed. Kendra grabs onto my arm pulling me in a different direction. "Nothing we can do. They are twice as big as us." Kendra whispered to me. I turn around, walking away with Kendra.

We catch up to the other three in silence. That poor girl was getting bullied and I couldn't help out in any way. I feel really bad for her and I want to turn around and get her away from those three. "Why can't we help her?" I asked. Sara faces me. "Like Kendra said, they are too big for us so let it go." Sara said harshly. Sara was always the one with anger problems. She has gotten better with controling it but has her moments. It seems to me she doesn't care for people that much. So I just nod. We find our way to the gym and join wiht all the other year sevens. Around five teachers are already here and some are smoking. "Isn't smoking banned from doing on school grounds?" I asked. Again Sara glares at me. "Stop asking questions and just deal with what you see! You're ruining it for us all!" She growled. I Look away and stare at a group of girls near the back. They are tall and have multiple piercings on thier faces. "And stop staring too!" Sara growled. Angie sighed and whacked Sara at the back of the head. She lets out a cry before walking off with Lilly at her heels. "What's with her? Ever since this morning I saw her she has been acting different." Angie whispered.

Chapter Three:
Angie was right like always. Sara was acting differently. When I look around and see half of the people I knew from primary, most are acting differently as well. And this raises my question. "What's with this place?" A large man, in a black suit walks up to the microphone, tapping it to get everyone's attention. "Hello and welcome to your first year here as year sevens. My name is Mr.Yun. I will just go through a couple of rules before sending you all to your new classes." Mr.Yun says slowly, shifting his eyes from one end to the other. He must be the princple of this school. He licks his lips before continuing speaking about the rules. I keep my eyes on Sara and Lilly who seem really far away from where I am. She seems really angry at me and thats never happened before. Everyone aound me starts walking out of the gym and I blink as students pass me. Angie grabs my arm, tugging onto me to come. Sara marches past us leaving Lilly at my side. She just ditched us! I glance over to Lilly and she shrugs. Outside Sara starts talking to a girl with long black hair, black eyeliner on and cuts on her face and hands. "Whoa an emo!" Kendra points over to Sara and the girl. Sara eye her before linking hands with the girl, stalking away. "Quiet, saying that will get us into trouble by..emos." Angie warns. Angie hands me my timetable that I thought I had in my bag. "First class is english in room L5." I read out loud.

I walk with my books, cuddled in my arms up to the L5 door. I open it up just as Sara pushes past me. "Watch it loser!" She hisses. "Sara its me." I say. She turns back to me, with her hands on her hips. "Yeah I know it's you loser. Geez don't talk to me." I shut my mouth and find a empty seat at back. the teacher is still not here and everyone is going cazy. Sara looks back to me and points at me. She looks back to her friend thats an emo and they laugh. What's going on I swear. "Ok ok. Sit down and be quiet, class is in order!" The female teacher says. So class begins.
