I used to be a really good writer when I was younger. When I was 7 I won a writing contest which got me $150 and my story read out on the radio by a famous guy
But lately I don't really have time to write. I start a story and never finish it

My Story-
It was a cold and windy day. Three girls stood by the water-turtle pond. Bella, the princess of the element ice, blew an icy breath on Ebony, the princess of the element fire.
‘Stop that!’ said Ebony as she blew a hot breath at Bella.
‘Sorry, couldn’t help myself.’ said Bella.
‘Yeah right.’ said Ebony, in an arguing tone.
 ‘Stop arguing guys!’ I said, I was the princess of the element of Earth, I had the power to turn into any animal, ‘remember why we are here. Someone called the Water Queen sent us a note saying, Please come to water-turtle pond, at 10:30.Stand in the pond so I can transport you to my world, the Amberflame. Its 10:29 now. We have to stand in the pond.’ I stood in the pond and Bella and Ebony copied me. Then, the world flashed, from yellow to blue to pink to red to green and then yellow again! We closed our eyes. When we opened them, we saw a beautiful lady in blue.
 ‘Are you Ebony, Bella and Redrose? The princesses of Fire, Ice and Earth? I am the Water Queen.’ She said.
‘Yes we are’ said Bella.
 ‘Thank goodness. I need you to rescue my husband from the black witch, but you have to go through the forest, past the Fire Goblin Desert, over the raging river of the blue men, through the Jungle maze, up the Snow ice mountain and go in the black witch’s castle. I can’t come with you, but I will give you these things, a map, a compass, food, five crystals, a fire, an ice, an earth, a water and a leaf crystal.’ said the Water Queen.
‘Ok, but what are the water and leaf crystal for?’ I asked.
 ‘Just keep it, you might need it.’ said the Water Queen.
‘Ok, guys, let’s go!’ said Bella, who is always ready for an adventure. We kept walking all the way to the forest. Soon we saw the forest. It was as dark as night, as quite as a mouse, as spooky as a ghost. I shivered. As soon as we walked in I heard a wolf howl. I think I was never this scared in my life. I turn myself into a fox with jet red fur. I started walking and I stopped. Ebony and Beth copied. I listen and deeper in the woods, I heard footsteps, I was pretty sure whoever was walking wasn’t nice, but I kept on going. It was soon dark as the night, too dark to see. I turned into a possum.
‘Follow my voice guys’ I squeaked.
‘Ok. Can you see the way though?’ asked Ebony.
‘Yeah, I’m a possum, don’t you remember?’ I replied.
Deeper and deeper we went. It wasn’t very long till we saw a light. I returned to my normal self. ‘Look! There’s light ahead!’ I yelled. I forgot all about the footsteps. As we started running a dark thing appeared.
‘Who thinks that they can past though the Dark Forest?’ it said. Then, the darkness disappeared off him, and then we saw that it was a dirty brown goo creature. It looks like it was from a swamp I thought.
‘We do! Ebony, Redrose and me!’ said Bella
‘You can’t past me till you solve this riddle: What is the end of time, the start of everything and the beginning of the end?’ said the pile of goo.
‘Hmmmmmm... The end of time, the start of everything and the beginning of the end...’ said Ebony. We thought and thought, but we couldn’t think of the answer.
‘E!’ said Bella, who remember her book of riddles.
‘You got the correct answer so you may pass.’ sighed the goo. We ran out of the dark woods. Ebony realised that the air was hot, the way she liked it.
‘Guys, is it just me or is the air getting hotter?’ asked Ebony. Bella stoped.
‘Too hot, my powers are growing weak.’ said Bella, afraid that she could lose her power in this hot place.
‘Well, this means that we are close to the Fire Goblin Desert. Let’s run there.’ I said, I wanted to look on the bright side. Ebony, Bella and I ran to the Fire Goblin Cave. “Give me the Ice crystal.’ croaked Bella. I handed it to her. Straightaway she was ok.
‘Hold your crystal.’ said Bella to Ebony and me. We held it. We were feeling much better too. I looked ahead. The scenery was now blazing red, orange and yellow. It was getting too hot for me.
‘Bella! Make a hallway out of ice!’ I said. She held her ice crystal and said some words. I couldn’t hear her as she was whispering it to the crystal. It seems like she never said those words. When she finished whispering to the crystal she held her hand out straight and made a hallway out of ice. Bella and I stepped inside. It was cool, and even in this hot climate, the ice wasn’t melting.
‘Thanks Bella.’ I said. We watched Ebony walking outside the ice hallway. She seems fine in the hot desert. It wasn’t very long till we heard a girl crying.
‘Ebony! Melt the ice!’ yelled Bella. Ebony took her crystal and put it in the ice, and the ice melted. ‘How did you do that?’ asked Bella, amazed.
‘I don’t know. It seems as if I was in a trance.’ replied Ebony. I turned into an eagle and flew up high in the sky to find the girl. She was easy to spot as she was covered in blue, just like the Water Queen, in the red hot desert. I did the signal to show I found her. I had to do a back-flip in the air. I flew down to the girl, who looked behind her, and saw me. She jumped back as she was terrified. I turned into a human shape.
 ‘It’s ok. I won’t hurt you.’ I said. I wanted to calm her down.
‘W...w ...who are you?’ she enquired, her voice was shaky. She must have been lost in the desert for a long time.
‘I’m Redrose, the princess of the element Earth. The Water Queen sent us to find the Water King, her husband. I have two friends who are helping me find him. Their names are Ebony and Bella.’ I said, hoping that this would comfort her. I looked in the distance and saw Bella and Ebony running to us.
‘My name is Kelsey. I am the princess of water and I am the Water Queen’s daughter. She also sent me to find my dad, but I got lost in this desert for five days.’ said Kelsey. When she finished talking Ebony and Bella finally came.
‘Who’s this?’ asked Bella, who have just beaten Ebony in asking.
‘I’m Kelsey. I am the princess of water and I am the Water Queen’s daughter.’ said Kelsey.
‘Hello, I’m Ebony and she’s Bella. What are you doing out here anyway?’ asked Ebony.
‘I went out to find my dad, but I got lost in this desert for five days.’ said Kelsey.
‘What did you eat and drink for the last five days?’ I asked.
‘I didn’t eat anything, but I got water from my powers.’ replied Kelsey.
‘Here, eat some food your mum gave us.’ Said Bella, worried that she might faint.
‘Ok.’ Kelsey said happily.
‘Let’s have a picnic here; I’m a bit hungry now.’ I said
‘Me too.’ said Ebony, realising that she was rather hungry.
‘Me three.’ giggled Bella as she handed some food to everyone.
‘Are you guys thirsty, I can give you some water.’ Kelsey said cheerfully.
I looked at Bella and Ebony, they look rather thirsty.
‘We are all thirsty. Here, take this Crystal, your mum gave it to us before we started our journey.’ I replied, and handed Kelsey the water crystal.
‘Ok, four cups of water, coming right up! Thanks, I think mum forgot to give it to me before I left.’ Replied Kelsey as she took the crystal and made 4 cups of water.
‘Ah..... Nice and cold, just the way I like it!’ I said happily.
The others nodded. Ebony look at her watch.
‘We got to find a place to sleep you guys, it 4 pm. It would be dark soon.’ Ebony said.
‘Ok. I saw the Fire Goblin Cave. Follow me!’ Kelsey said as she started running and everyone followed. But I changed into an eagle and flew.
We ran and flew for a while, but I was ahead. I saw the Fire Goblin Cave and saw something else. A battle. With fire goblins.
I landed quickly and changed into my human shape.
‘Hey! Guys! We are going to have a battle with fire goblins. We got to work out our moves. Bella I think we need you to stay out of the battle, we don’t want you to melt.’ I said.
‘Awhh... Alright! I’ll be a backup battler’ groaned Bella.
‘Ok, I think Ebony should have a go first, fight fire with fire. Then, if she fails Kelsey can go second, she is fire’s weakness. If that doesn’t work, I turn into a Phoenix and attack them. If all else fails, we turn to Bella.’ I said as I pushed Ebony in front so she can battle first.
I can’t explain what I felt inside of me, I felt brave and scared and worried. I didn’t want my friend to get hurt. They could be the only people I will ever meet that are a princess of an element like me.
Ebony charged to the cave to fight. But the goblin was huge, almost 3 times the size of herself.
‘Me and my friends want to battle you, for the cave! So, if I were you, I would be giving up the cave or let us kick your but!’ yelled Ebony.
‘Mwahahahahaha! No one ever beat me before, so I’m not moving. Give me all you got you midget!’ laughed the goblin.
‘Err! Take that!’ Ebony said as she threw a fire punch at the goblin’s leg. The goblin didn’t feel a thing.
‘Kelsey! Your turn!’ I said as I pushed Kelsey into the battle.
‘Take that!’ yelled Kelsey at she made water jet out from her had.

Dancing Drama:

The audience gasp as they watch my dance performance. As a gracefully leap around, I attempt a triple spin, and landed safely. Claps of the audience fly through my head, have I done it? I thought to myself. If I have I will be put through State championships! I don’t think I did, though. The
ratings from the judges were extraordinary! 10,10,10! Yes! I have the highest score. As I went up to collect my trophy, my mums phone rang. It was the hospital. It was about my little brother, Michael. There is something wrong with him, we don’t know what. He already, has leukaemia. What can be worse?? Its my special night, please nothing bad happen. We quickly drove to the hospital, mum, dad and I. Once we got there, Michael had tubes in his nose, drips on both arms. His body lay there, all pale and white, silent and still, my hands were shaking. NO! It was to late. His heart rate had dropped. I heard the machine beeping, then it stopped. My little brother had just passed away. My eyes started to well up with tears. One by one, they flowed down my cheek. I couldn’t believe it. ‘I’m so sorry Mr Heret and Mrs Jackson. Your son has just past away.’ The nurse said. My mum started to bellow out tears. So did my dad. I still can’t believe it. Michael had battled leukaemia for 1 year and his life, passed. As Michael lay there, his dead body all pale and white. We had to leave. That night I couldn’t sleep. And when I did I will always have that one dream haunting me in my mind. The one I am sure to have every night now. Its when Michael is on the slide, at the park. When he was sliding down, he yelled ‘Taa-raaaa look at meeeee!!!’ I would always watch him zoom down from the slide. I could’ve saved him. But it was to late. He was gone, forever.




My first day of high school was today. Skye was waiting for me outside the school’s gates. ‘Hey Tara, heard the news, are you ok?’ she asked. I nod in despair.

Great stories everyone!

Here's some of mine.
Oh, btw, it's not from the start. It's from the middle. xD

There’s a faint ache in my head, which becomes worse, as I wake up. “Ugh!” Summer groans. “You killed her, I swear.” I frown, my eyes still tightly shut. What on earth is she going on about? “She’s not dead! Do dead people frown?” Mason mutters angrily. That’s enough, I think to myself. I open my eyes to see the two staring intently down at me. I murmur something unintelligible. “Are you okay, Dakota?” they ask me, both sounding exceedingly concerned. “Yeah, fine…” I trail off remembering what he had said earlier. “We’ll keep you safe,” Summer says matter-of-factly. “We’ve already covered your trail.” I smile nervously; at least I could trust them. Summer walks towards the window. Her hair looks pink in the sun’s light. I love her hair, it was so beautiful. Mason’s hair was a lot darker though. I chuckle quietly to myself. Mason, with pink hair! That, I think to myself, is something I want – no need - to see. He smiles at me. “I’m glad you didn’t get a concussion or anything.” I giggle. “You’re wrong. I have a killer headache,” I moan. “I’ll go get some panadol,” Summer volunteers. When she’s out of sight Mason walks up to me and gives me a huge hug. “I know this sounds corny,” he mumbles into my ear, “but we’ll do whatever it takes to make sure you’re safe.” I smile. “Thank you,” I murmur back before resting my head on his shoulder. It felt so safe, so… right. So I remained in the same position until Summer came back.

After having two panadols the pain in my head was just a dull ache that slowly went away. Summer looked nervously at me and then back at Mason. How many things could go wrong? “Mason, we need to go shopping,” she says nervously. He looks at her and laughs. “Okay, that’s fine, we’ll just take Dakota with us,” he replies. “We can’t take Dakota,” she says, and then pauses. “If the tracker is there he’ll make a scene and we don’t want anyone injured.” He nods, considering this. “Well, I’ll stay home with her.” I smile at the idea of me and Mason all alone in a comfy cabin in the middle of a forest… “Can’t,” Summer says simply. “We both need to go.” Mason groans, getting her idea. “But we can’t leave her here alone.” His twin paces the room impatiently. “I know,” she murmurs distantly. “But there’s nothing else we can do!” I frown; I hate it when people fight over me. It especially annoys me because Mason and Summer are so grand compared to me. I am pretty much just a dull, plain, average teenager with long, silky black hair and the occasional freckle. “Enough,” I say calmly. “Stop fighting over me or…” I trail off. They both laugh at my stupid half-threat.
