I am trying to write a story. And I hope it turns out well...

I stepped out of the car. My heart was just killing me at the moment. I looked back at mum. 'You'll be okay sweetie.' she assured me. Or did she...?
Monya Rikada is in a totally new country. It hardly effects her. She had no friends back in Ukraine. Now she has come to the United Kingdom with a big accent. No one can ever understand her and she only ever agreed to came because it was a lot bigger and popular than Ukraine. None of her family members were there. And she doubted to have any friends. All she had was her mum and dad there to support her. Monya was always sitting and playing with Babushka dolls. She is only ever interested in them. She is really different to anyone in the United Kingdom.

C H A P T E R O N E

I was jumping on my bags, trying to get them closed. I had to pack up basically everything I own. Moving countries isn't the easiest thing to do. 'Sweetie, do you any help up there?' mum asked, 'No, I am perfectly fine.' I whispered. I ran downstairs with my three bags and dumped them in the trailer. Ten bags were in the trailer, and five in the car. We couldn't afford a truck to load it all at the airport for us. It was a seven hour drive to the nearest airport. I made sure we had everything, then we went.

We drove past alot of things, most things that I had never seen before. I loved the way the snow covered the trees. It was like toppings on an ice-cream. We stopped at this lovely place. Like a big shopping centre. And it had everything! A fountain, lovely couches and everything was 75% off! We stopped there and bought me some last, Ukrainian stuff to remember the times. I got this awesome glass sculpture with a picture of a tree covered in snow. We got some food for while we travel, and I got a little laptop computer, but it was very small. I wrote a long journey story as we drove, talking about all the things we did while driving.

C H A P T E R T W O

We are about half an hour away from the Kiev Airport, everytime I see a sign saying 'Kiev Airport this exit' my heart keeps pounding. I say to mum 'I can't do this, I may not have any friends, who cares. I love the snow, the landmarks, everything!' I start to sweat, 'Monya, we have to move on, we will visit back every two holidays, it's for the best sweetie.' she tells me, with a lovingly smile. Its been another 30 minutes so, we are there basically, but, no, we are now. We turn in. 'What about the car mum?' I asked, 'It'll stay here, and we''ll get our money back to get one in the UK.' she replied.

Once we had parked, I jumped out of the car, I got three of the bags out from the car, I was wondering... How can we carry all this ourselves...? It turns out there are these trollies, me and mum carried two bags each, and the other eleven go in the trolly which dad has. We walk in, I just laugh in happiness because it is still three hours before the plane get's here. We dump our bags at the gate 12 - 16 and wait. We take turns going to shops and looking at all things. Then we all go to the toilet also taking turns. Then I decide to get out my laptop as there is another hour before we leave. I look at this things called iMusic, you can download any music from there. There is this song I love but I don't the name of it. I ahev a look at all the other icons. This should entertain me while on the 3 hour trip. 10 hours of just anything. This ought to be good. But I am still not that excited about leaving Ukraine. But I am wanting to go a bit more than what I did.

C H A P T E R T H R E E

It was time to board the plane, I started crying while we were walking onto the plane. I hugged my mum and dad, and then we chose a seat. I sat in the middle with mum and dad on the side. I closed my eyes to forget about everything that has happened in the past. I was moving on. The palne started to take off and there were ladies at the front telling everyone what happens if the plane does something unexpected.
