Two days after the Battle of Hogwarts. Hermione hasn't even went to find her parents yet [she will IN this story]. Ron & Hermione are going out, and Ginny & Harry are desperately hoping it works out, and start giving advice for Ron & Hermione to follow. But have they gone too far?

Ginny nervously twisted her hair around her finger. She was sitting on her bed in her room, waiting for someone to walk through that door. She glanced at the clock again. Where is she? Ginny wondered. Ginny took her eyes off the clock and glanced back at the door. Amazingly, the door immediatly opened, and through it walked a breathless but excited Hermione Granger.

Ginny jumped up and exclaimed 'WELL?! HOW WAS IT?!'
Hermione smiled and paused to regain her breath. 'Absolutely fantastic.
Ginny pretended to look put out and annoyed 'You can't just say absolutely fantastic! I need all the details!
Hermione rolled her eyes and sat down on the other bed in the room. She didn't mind Ginny's behaviour. In fact, she was more than willing to replay the evening again.

'Well we left, and apparated over to London. Then we decided that I show him this Muggle restaurant called Louis', and while we walked over to it, we talked about the battle of Hogwarts, and how we were so scared, determined --'
'Hopelessly in love with each other' Ginny interrupted.
Hermione rolled her eyes again and poked her tongue out at Ginny. She wouldn't usually do that, but Ginny, Ron & Harry are exceptions. 'Anyway,' she continued 'We finally reached Louis' and had a bit of trouble on deciding a pizza. I was expecting an argument, and I could tell Ron was too. Naturally, we did argue, but we were sort of joking. Eventually we decided on a pizza with everything on it.'
Ginny's eyes frowned 'That's not good.'
'It's fine, we didn't mind. I told you, we never mind if we have arguments. In fact, we dont get why everyone else DOES mind. So anyway, after the dinner, we went to see the movie and we talked about the plot.
'So?! Did you hold hands? Did you lean against his shoulder during the scary parts? Did you kiss?' Ginny interrupted once again.
'No; It was a comedy so there weren't any scary parts; And yes.' Hermione answered each question in order.
Ginny's eyes widend 'SO?! How?!'
Hermione laughed 'Well on the way back from the cinema, when we wanted to be far away enough from everyone to aparate, We stopped in this field, which was where we decided to aparate. Ron grabbed my hand and said 'This was really fun. Thanks Hermione.' I said 'Yeah. Thank you' and we leaned in and kissed.'
Ginny grinned and put her head on her pillow. 'Ok. We'll talk about it more tomorrow.
Hermione laughed 'Deal.'

And she fell asleep with a huge smile on her face.

'So. It was a great date, right?'
Ron didn't even hesitate before saying 'Yes.'
Harry relaxed and put his head on his pillow and his arms around his head. 'Excellent'
'You know, I have a feeling Hermione and I are hoping it works out more then you are.'
Harry rolled his eyes, but wasn't sure whether Ron could see, because he was on the other side of the room. 'What movie did you see?'
Ron frowned 'I can't exactly remember the name of it... it's like Laughing At The T... te...tellyvich or something. It's some kind of box that has moving pictures. Hermione explained it to me before, but I still didn't get it. I also don't get this - If that BOX has moving pictures, why can't they put moving pictures on their WALLS?'
Harry did his best not to laugh 'I don't know' he mumbled as he got into a more comfortable position to sleep.
Ron sighed. 'Muggles confuse me.'
'Don't think about them. Think about what a great time you had with Hermione'
'Of course. That's all that I HAVE been thinking about.'
'Good.' Harry replied, although he wasn't sure whether Ron had heard him or not, because the only reply he got, was Ron's snores.

'Come on now, are you SURE you're not hungry yet?' Molly Weasley's voice called from the kitchen
'No mum, we'll be there in a few minutes. Harry & I just need to talk.' Ginny called back.
'Ron said he had a great time. He has become addicted to popcorn, but he calls it Buttercorn because it had too much butter.' Harry told her in a soft voice, so no one could hear
Ginny laughed 'Oh... I didn't tell her about what to do with the popcorn!'
Harry looked confused, so Ginny went on to explain
'You put it in the middle, then when the other person goes for it, you go at the same time, and not-so-accidentally brush hands.'
'Oh... smart.'
'Do you think it will work out?' Ginny asked
'Well, yes. I really do. Ron and Hermione liked each other since second year! If not, first even! They've been through tons that people thought they would never be able to get through without hating each other, but they still lo...like each other. And they had a great time yesterday. So why shouldn't it?'
'True. But we should do our best so they can be the best they can be. We should give them advice and things like that.' Ginny suggested
Harry paused. He wasn't entirely sure they wanted Harry & Ginny's help, but he didn't want them to break up now, otherwise things will go really awkward between them. He thought for a moment, then nodded his head. 'Sure. That's a good idea.'

When Hermione walked into the kitchen, Harry and Ginny were unusually quiet.
'Where's Ron?' she asked. Ron wouldn't have let them be so quiet.
'Still asleep.' Harry mumbled as he grabbed a piece of toast and stuffed it into his mouth
Hermione laughed. Naturally Ron would either be in the kitchen or still asleep. But that didn't explain why they were so quiet. She wondered what she could say to lighten the mood. Saying 'Who's funeral is it?' would definitely be out of the question. No one was really over the Battle of Hogwarts yet. Hermione swallowed as she thought of Fred. She didn't think anyone would ever fully be over it. Life without Fred was going to take a long time to get used to.
'Well, why are you guys so quiet?'
Harry and Ginny looked at each other and shrugged 'Didn't notice,' Harry replied.
'So what flavour of popcorn did you have?' Ginny asked casually
Hermione looked quite surprised. That was random, she thought 'Ron got butter. He said it's too buttery, but good anyway. I didn't have any. I don't like popcorn.'
Ginny shrugged and said 'Oh ok'. But really, in her mind she was screaming 'NO POPCORN?! ARGH! POPCORN ISN'T JUST FOOD! IT BRINGS COUPLES TOGETHER! How can you NOT have popcorn?!'. They would have to have a serious talk later.
Harry got up from his seat and announced he was going to see Ron. He needed to find out exactly what Ron did. He may have made an even bigger mistake then Hermione.

Harry knocked on the door three times and then barged in. Ron was groaning.
'No!!!'
'Ron GET UP! We NEED to talk! It's about your date with Hermione!'
That got Ron's attention. He looked quite nervous, but desperate to know what Harry had to say. 'Did she say anything?'
'No,' Harry replied 'But I need to ask you a few things.'
Ron looked at him as if to say 'This couldn't have waited until after I woke up?'
Harry ignored that and continued 'Ok. During the movie did you put your arm around her?'
Ron looked as though he was thinking hard on what to say - what he SHOULD say or the truth. 'No...'
Harry had to refrain from exploding 'Why NOT?' he said in a calm and measured voice
Ron looked quite annoyed now and embarrassed 'First off it was a comedy, so putting an arm around her during it would have been stupid. Secondly, she was sitting on my left and I couldn't put my left arm around her seeing as I'm right-handed, right? My arm would have been dying by the end of the movie!'
Harry didn't think that mattered much, but he accpepted it nonetheless. 'Ok. Next time, sit on her left.'
'I will.' Ron mumbled as he leaned back to go to sleep again
'Oh also' Harry added 'Get up! It's practically lunch time! Ginny and I were hoping to verse you guys in Qudditch.'
'How did you covince Hermione to play?' Ron asked. It was plainly obvious that Hermione is not a good flier and is never confident on a broom.
'Oh we havent yet. We're hoping you might help out. She could never say no to you.' Harry grinned
Ron paused for a moment, considering the offer. 'Alright. Hope you wont be too upset when you lose.' he said as he got up to get ready for the day.
