Cassie’s Dream Comes True.

Cassie was a sweet young girl she was an intelligent normal sort of girl that loved her lollies.

But by the age of 5 the first word she had said to Mummy and Daddy was Pony. Their alarms bells went off Cassie’s Mum and Dad disliked Ponies very much and this was the last thing they wanted Cassie to love. ‘PONY?!’ They both exclaimed looks. She nodded ‘Yes Mummy a Pony, I want one Cassie said’ ‘Oh My said Cassies Dad’ ‘What shall we do? Cassies Mum said’

By the age of 6 her Mum and Dad were relived because at September she wanted a dog, they proudly bought her one, hoping she was over the Pony Stage.

But their hopes were soon shattered as they saw her trying to ride her dog Benny in the backyard over jumps. She called out to them ‘He won’t jump! Come on Benny, let’s try and win for Gold in the Horsey world! She yelled’

It was finally time for Cassie’s first day of school, and unfournetly for her Mums sake two ponies were in the paddock they were walking past. She begged to stop. ‘Please Mummy! She said’ the pony neighed making matters worse. ‘Oh he is so adorable! She said’ running to the pony.

When your pony mad there is nothing in life except ponies…

On the way to school patting ponies

And on the way back begging Mum to pat the ponies

In an empty paddock…

In books. And magazines

In the shed...

And in Cassies dreams where nothing is impossible.

Making sure her bedroom was perfect with…

Thousands of horse posters on the wall…

And toys laying everywhere…

That by the time her parents come in they have a massive headache…

She found that building a pony pen in the backyard can be pretty exciting and pretending a pony is in it..

But its nothing like having a real pony..

One day…Cassie met another horse mad girl…

And insisted they be best friends…

She went for sleepovers…and best of all rides on her friends pony Midget…

She was so excited…

She got home and told her Mum and Dad she really wants a pony…

But she got the sad response of Sorry Honey not at the moment…

She cried, was there no hope for this unfortunate girl?

She never let up though…
(responses PLEASE I’LL BE GOOD, CAN I HAVE A PONY, I CAN KEEP IT IN THE SHED, CAN I HAVE RIDING LESSONS THEN, WHY NOT, PLEASE, I LOVE YOU, PLEASE!!!)

And then one day..her parents announced they had been talking to her friend Kristy’s parents..and they said she may be able to loan a pony off them and keep it on a nearby property…

She was so excited…and was getting her gear ready.

Off to the horse shop they went…

And bought jodhpurs, boots and a riding hat…

The day was nearing when we she finally got to meet her new loan pony…

She was so excited!
