What it'll be about:

Hermione and Ginny meet their co-stars and Flitwick explains the show in detail.

Hermione and Ginny were talking excitedly all the way to the Great Hall. As they walked in, they saw a whole bunch of people talking just like them. A rather handsome boy with blond hair walked over to them.
'Hey,' he said casually
'Hi' they replied
'I'm Steven Tierer, in Hufflepuff. I play Ralph. How 'bout you?'
'Oh, I'm Flora, she's Kim.' Ginny said, pointing to Hermione
'Nice,' he said, grinning at Hermione.
'Yeah...' Hermione said uncomfortably, and looked around.

Flitwick was trying to get everyone's attention, but to no avail.

Ginny stood up on a chair and called out 'Oi! SHH!' and got back down.
Flitwick gave a sigh of relief and said 'Thank you Ginny.'
Ginny waved back, and Hermione laughed slightly.
'Now,' Flitwick continued 'Here's a more detailed description of the plot. The story starts with Ralph, Flora and their friends walking off a carriage into Shine Star Shine, the school. After they walk off stage, Kim appears, looking around the school grounds, and sings I Am, and walks away, into the school. Ralph hears her sing but doesn't see her. He wants to sing a duet with her for the Talent Show, so he organises auditions for everyone to attend. Kim doesn't sing, but her friend Faith does, and upon finding out what kind of voice Ralph is looking for, Faith introduces him to Kim. Kim sings a few lines of 'Maybe' and Ralph asks her if she would like to sing with him in the Talent Show, singing 'You and Me'. Kim agrees. Little does she know that Flora is very angry, because she wanted to sing with him, and she is jealous that he and Kim are getting along so well. She gets a love potion and gives it to Ralph. Ralph tells Kim he no longer wants to sing with her, Kim is heartbroken and sings 'Tears', then decides to sing solo at the show.

Sophie the instructor sings an introduction song at the show, 'My School My Kingdom'. Flora prepares to sing with Ralph, and swarms up her voice by singing 'Magical Me'. Ralph is in the audience, still under the potion, and hears Kim perform, singing 'I Got Me' and the effects of the potion wear off, as Ralph realises he's in love with Kim. After jumping on stage, he and Kim sing 'You and Me' and win the show. The show finishes off with all the cast singing 'Time to Shine' and at the end, Ralph and Kim kiss.'
Silence followed this, as Hermione's eyes widened. She raised her hand slowly.
'Excuse me Flitwick... did you say kiss?'
'Yes Hermione,' Flitwick said 'Kim and Ralph kiss.'

After the meeting, Ginny excitedly walked back talking to herself about the show. Her songs were amazing, Flitwick hadn't covered all the songs, he had only mentioned one of the songs FLora would sing called Magical Me. But Ginny would also get to sing 'Glorious', and 'Popular'.

The reason Ginny was talking to herself was because Hermione was deep in thought about Flitwick's announcement. How could she kiss Stevie? Or anybody besides Ron? Well, she had kissed Viktor Krum is fourth year, but he had kissed her, and she hadn't wanted to kiss him. She had only attended the ball with him because a certain someone was trying to figure out whether he liked Hermione or not. But Viktor was hoping she'd become his girlfriend, and she had to tell him at the ned of the year that she only wanted to be friends with him.

'Could I haf a vord?' Krum asked Hermione
'Wel, yes.. alright.' Hermione answered, and walked after him, trying not to smirk as Ron called out that she better return soon.
'I just vant to tell you Hermo-ninny,' Krum began, 'vat you are still velcome to come to Bulgaria over the summer.'
'Oh,' Hermione replied 'Uh, thanks Viktor... but..'
'Vot but?' Krum asked, rather surprised
'I... I'm needed here.' Hermione said
'Vat? Vy?'
'Harry needs me, he's just witnessed a murder and--'
'I vas close to Cedric too. I knew it! You haf feelings for him! But he told me you vernt...'
'We're not.' Hermione said firmly, and then added, feeling slightly dazed 'But, there is someone I... I do like...' glancing over at Ron, who seemed to be trying to stretch his neck to be as long as a giraffe's. Krum followed her gaze, then looked back at her.
'Him?' he asked, very shocked, but realised she was still watching Ron, who was now rubbing his sore neck.
She realised he had just replied, and looked back at him. 'I would like to be friends though. You have been a very good friend, and I dont want to lose that. We can OWL each other, I can tell you what happens here, and you can tell me about Bulgaria.'
'Alright,' he said after a pause. 'But you should see it for yourself.' Hermione shrugged her shoulders, and glanced back at Ron quickly. Viktor sighed, and grabbed her hand and kissed it. 'Goodbye, Herm-o-ninny.' He turned and left.
Hermione looked down at the hand he kissed, about to call out to remind him they were friends, then realised it must be customary to do that in Bulgaria.

She walked into the common room rather depressed. Things did not brighten when Ron called out 'Hey! There's the superstar!' with a huge grin on his face. She would have to wipe that smile off his face. She had to do it before, and she certainly didn't want to do it again.

Ron beckoned her over to where he was sitting, and put his arm around her. 'Well, how'd it go?' he asked
Hermione looked him straight in the eye and replied 'Absolutely terribly.'
Ron's smile faded. 'Why?'
Hermione took a deep breath. 'Well, Flitwick told us about what the characters have to do... and... well, Kim has to... well, she doesnt have to.. I have to... uh...'
'What is it Hermione?' Ron asked her
'Promise me that you wont blow up?' Hermione asked
'How could I blow up?' he smiled, spreading his arms wide as if seeing an old friend.
'It's just... it's not exactly that good...'
'I could see that.'
'So, you wont blow up?'
'I'll try not to.' Ron said
'Ok.' Hermione took another deep breath. 'At the end of the show, Kim and Ralph kiss.'
Silence.
'Ron? Are you alright?' Hermione asked. His face was pale and his eyes were wide. He shook his head in response.
'I think Flitwick is quite set on it. He's rather excited he's directing a show with a kiss in it. But it's absolutely ridiculous--'
The colour returned to Ron's face... only too much. He was now turning red.
'Ron?' she looked at him
'HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY KISS ANOTHER GUY?!' Ron yelled out
'Ron I didn't make the decision!' Hermione protested
'IT'S UNBELIEVABLE! UNFAIR! RIDICULOUS! ... PREPOSTROUS!' Ron exclaimed
Hermione had been about to protest once more, to calm Ron down, but after he used his vocabulary, and couldn't help but laugh. 'Nice adjectives.'
The sound of her laughter calmed Ron down a bit, and he managed to sit down once more. 'I told you before, you're a bad influence on me.'
'I dont think it's bad.' Hermione said, sounding hurt, but Ron knew she was kidding.
'Well, maybe not that bad...'
'So, are you OK with it?' Hermione said, turning serious again. 'I mean, I'm not OK with it, but I want you to know that it's going to be just an on stage kiss. Nothing more.'
Ron couldn't help but admire at how loyal she was. 'Now, what about a kiss that does mean more?' he grinned.
Hermione laughed. 'Speaking of influences, I think you've helped me improve my kissing.'
Ron's mouth formed a perfect 'o'. She had rarely flirted with him before. 'Show me.' he replied, and grinned as Hermione's lips pressed against his.

Harry and Ginny, who had been watching them, couldn't help but roll their eyes. Harry pretended to throw up, which made Ginny laugh. Dean, who was walking by, stopped and asked them what was so funny. Harry stopped laughing and watched as Dean looked at Ginny.
Why's he looking at her like that/ Harry wondered.
He'll have to keep an eye on him.

My stories aren't that good. I like descriptions better, but even they aren't good.

Ginny had been having the time of her life performing. She never knew it would be so much fun! Hermione too, was having a blast, but got rather nervous at the romantic scenes. At least she convinced Flitwick not to rehearse the kiss until the actual night. Ginny was rather proud of Hermione, for various reasons.
1) She was very mature about the whole thing. She had told Steven that the kiss would not mean anything, and that it would only happen once, on the night. He had said that he was also rather nervous about it, and he agreed that it wouldnt mean anything.
2) She had already memorised half her script, and a few songs. The songs were great, and Hermione could sing them so well.

'Ginny...' Hermione began, as Ginny began singing 'Glorious' on the way back from rehearsal. 'Maybe you should save your voice for the rehearsals. You've been practising so much.'
'Exactly - practise makes perfect. I expect you of all people would understand.' Ginny replied, and skipped off singing 'Glorious'.
Hermione laughed - Ginny would never have skipped off. She really was getting into Flora's character.

The next morning, Ginny woke up feeling tired. Strange, I really dont feel good. She got up silently, put on a dressing gown, and left her dormitory. She walked down the corridor to Hermione's room.
She knocked lightly on the door, wondering if Hermione was asleep. In a few moments, Hermione appeared.
'Hey Ginny, how are you? What's up?'
Ginny opened her mouth to say she didn't feel too good, but no sound came out. She gave out a tiny gasp and mouthed a few words to Hermione:
'I think I lost my voice.'
'Oh my Godric Gryffindor! You lost your voice?! I told you!' Hermione exclaimed
Ginny glared at Hermione as if to say 'Yeah whatever, you're a genius, we know.'
Hermione laughed. 'Ok, lets go to Madame Pomfrey.'

'I had a potion for lost voices, but I ran out. Some of the choir members used up all of it. I'm expecting some in about three weeks.'
Ginny tried to yell out 'Three Weeks?!' but it came out as little gasps.
'I think she means, 'Three WEEKS?!'' Hermione translated
Ginny nodded enthusiastically.
'Yes, I'm afraid it will be 3 weeks.'
'But Ginny dont worry. I'm sure your voice will be back by then. I'll just have to miss out on a few rehearsals?' Hermione reassured her.
Ginny glared at her in response, instead of the usual grumbling.
