^{Chapter 1

When I moved to Forks I never expected to fall in love with a vampire nor did I expect myself to be told about a supernatural world that no other human knows about. I can immediately tell you that what I have experienced in the small town of Forks will change my life forever. I walked through the doors of Forks Highschool in excitement because it was Edward's 110th birthday today. I knew he didn't want any attention at all but I just had to get him something for the special day. I spotted him in the crowd of crazed people and ran over to him and flung my arms around him. I whispered in his ear "Happy Birthday!". Edward looked at me and said "Bella, I told you I don't want to celebrate this day and I never will". I replied "Edward, I don't know why you wouldn't want to celebrate this day, i know I would". Edward stared at me and walked away and then I yelled "Edward!". Time past by and every class we were in togther was silent. I hated this. At the end of the day I walked out to my truck when Alice appeared right behind me and replied "Bella, I wanted to invite you to dinner tonight at our place, do you want to come?". I said "Of course I'll come!". I know it is selfish but i just wanted to see Edward.}
