i dont own any of the Harry Potter writings, i just wrote this purely because i am a fan



Basically Ginny gets jealous of Cho, and Harry gets jealous of Micheal Corner
_{(there's also a hidden problem, that will arise at the end of the story)}

"Did you see that pass?!" Neville Longbottom yelled to Luna Lovegood through the crowd at the first Quidditch match of the school year.
"Oh yes, I saw it," Luna replied dreamily. "I hope Harry catches the Snitch soon."
"So do I." Neville replied.


At that moment, Harry Potter (The Gryffindor Quidditch Captain and Seeker) and just missed the Snitch by centimeters.
"COME ON HARRY!" Ron Weasley (the Gryffindor Keeper and Harry's best friend) yelled out. "We've been playing for hours!"
"SHUT IT RON!" Ginny Weasley (one of the three Gryffindor Chasers, Ron's younger sister and Harry's girlfriend) screamed at her brother. "he can't focus on catching the Snitch with you yelling at him every time he misses!"
"Thanks Ginny!" harry yelled out to Ginny.

Soon after Ginny yelled at Ron, Harry regained his focus and sped off after the Snitch; which was fluttering just behind Eliza Smith's (a sixth year brunette Hufflepuff girl) head. No sooner had harry sped off towards it, his broom fell a hundred feet, flipped over, and Harry fell to the hard ground.

days and weeks passed, but Harry didn't leave the Hospital Wing. Though he was not alone all of the time, as Ron and Hermione Granger (Harry's other best friend and Ron's girlfriend) visited him often, but Ginny visited Harry everyday without fault. She visited during lunch, before and after dinner and breakfast, and as she was a sixth year student, she was entitled to a free period which she used visiting Harry.
Three weeks after Harry's accident, Ginny was walking to the Hospital Wing with Hermione (as Ron was already there), when she noticed that the door was wide open, and a girl was standing next to harry's bed. A black-haired girl. That girl was Harry's ex-girlfriend, Cho Chang.

"Oh dear," Hermione said silently to herself.
"What's she doing here?" Ginny asked Hermione, putting emphasis on the word she.
"She's probably just visiting some-" Hermione started to say, but was cut off.
"Ginny!" Harry called out happily as he saw her walking through the door of the Hospital Wing with Hermione by her side. "I was wondering when you'd come."
Ginny just stood there with a stunned look on her face.
"Ar-are you o-ok Ginny?" Ron asked slowly. "Yo-you know Ch-Cho, r-right?"
"Yes, yes I do know Cho," Ginny replied stiffly. "and, uh, how did Cho come to be here tonight?"
"Well, I was walking back to my Dormitory to drop my books off before Dinner, when I ran into Ron. I asked how Harry was after his accident, and Ron offered to take me to see him."
"Yeah, and I was on my way to get you two," Ron added. "But I couldn't find you."
"Cho, would it be alright if you left for a while? I think Ginny needs to talk to Harry." Hermione sweetly asked Cho.
"Ok," she replied. "I'll, er, come back tomorrow."

After making sure that Cho was out of ear-shot, Ginny screamed, "WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?"
Ron, looking confused, replied, "What? she was worried so I thought that maybe she wanted to check on Harry herself. she's been asking about him for the past three weeks anyway,"
"SHE'S BEEN DOING WHAT?"Harry, Hermione, and Ginny all yelled together.
"May I ask that you be more quiet?! This is a Hospital Wing, not a Quidditch match!" Madame Pomfrey, the Matron, asked them sternly.

"i can't believe she's visiting him!" Ginny cried as she started her Charms homework.
"Well, I guess they are friends," Hermione replied, as she started her Ancient Runes assignment.
"How can you say that? Doesn't she know that Harry and I are going out now? We have been for a year!" Ginny retorted.
"well, i guess, I," Hermione sputtered. "Oh Ginny come on! you know as well as I do that Harry would never go back with Cho! I mean, remember when he and her used to date? They never spoke!"
"Yes, I remember that, but still!" Ginny said.
"Ginny relax. Harry's not going to go back to Cho." Hermione replied.
"And how do you know?" Ginny asked, getting annoyed.
"Because he loves you. i can see it in his eyes when he looks at you. He would never go back to Cho, because I saw the way he looked at her, and honestly, it was nothing in comparison to the way he looked at you when you walked in the door." Hermione said, hoping that she re-assured Ginny.
"I guess you're right, i just, I don't want to lose him." Ginny exclaimed.
Then behind them, a voice said, "You won't."

"Harry?!" hermione screamed as Ginny ran over to him and kissed him. "But I thought you weren't suppossed to come back until next week!?"
"I got an early pass from McGonagol." he replied to Hermione, then turned to Ginny. "i saw how upset you got yesterday, and i had to get out of the hospital to see you, and tell you that nothing is going to happen between me and Cho, because, I love you."

A week had passed since Harry got out of the Hospital Wing when he noticed something strange happening, people were whispering and walking in close knit grooups when they walked passed him in the corridor. This wasn't exactly strabge to him as they had done this many times before, but this time, it was different. He hadn't opened the Chamber of Secrets, or been 'crying about his dead mum'. He didn't understand what was going on.
Just then, his thoughts of what was happening were driven out of his mind as he saw Ginny. He and Ginny had been spending a lot of time together since he got out of the Hospial Wing, a bit more then usual.
'I think she wants to make sure that Cho doesn't try to get me back,' Harry thought to himself.
"Hey Ginny," Harry said. "How are -"He began to say, until he was interupted.
"hi Ginny, could I talk to you for a minute?" Micheal Corner (Ginny's ex-boyfriend) said to Ginny, clearly ignoring the fact that Harry, Ginny's current boyfriend, was standing right beside her.
"Micheal Harry was talking to me before you rudely interupted him and ignored his presence." Ginny replied.
"Sorry, I just needed to talk to you," Micheal exclaimed. "It's kind of important."
"Well what ever it is," Harry started. "You can say it in front of me."
"Uh, I only wanted to talk to, uh, Ginny." Micheal replied, looking worried.
"As Harry said, if you have something to say, you can say it in front of him," Ginny said.
"Ok, uh, could you, uh, help me with, uh my Quidditch skills?" Micheal aske, sounding nervous.
"I would love to."

At lunch later that day, Ginny sat down next to harry, but didn't touch her potatoes.
"Harry, why did you say you'd love to? I thought you hated Micheal?" Ginny asked.
"I do, but he seriously needs help. Did you see that pass he tried to make?!" harry replied.
"Yeah, the one I intercepted. Harry, were you scared that he'd try to get me to go out with him again? I wouldn't! Not after he was such a jerk to you!" Ginny said.
"I know he was a jerk to me and all, but he looked as though he had a plan to fufil," Harry replied, looking a little sad. "and call me stupid, but i don't want him to think he can win you back."
Ginny took his hand and replied, "He can't win me back, because im with you, and I always will be."
"Ok. D-do you want to help him with hiis Quidditch? Because I have a History of Magic exam I have to study for; and Hermione is no where to be seen."



"MICHEAL! HEY MICHEAL!" Harry called out on his way to Potions.
"yeah?" Micheal replied after stopping.
"Meet Ginny at 5pm tonight in the Entrance Hall."
"I thought you were going to help me."
"I was, but I have a History of Magic exam to study for," Harry began. "And im not supposed to actually play Quidditch for another two weeks."
"Ok, I'll be there at 5pm tonight." Micheal replied. 'I didn't think he'd actually let her help me.' Micheal thought to himself.

That evening, Ginny departed the Gryffindor Common room, after kissing Harry good-bye, with the Quidditch trunk in tow.
As Ginny came to the Entrance Hall, and saw Micheal waiting there for her, smiling slightly.
"Hey Ginny," he started to say, until he finished his sentence.
"GINNY!!!!!!!" Ron yelled from the Marble Staircase.
"What Ron?!" Ginny replied.
"Have you seen Hermione? I haven't been able to find her anywhere!"
"Well, that's hermione's business. If she wanted you to know, she'd tell you," Ginny replied.
"So you do know! Then where is she... What's he doing here?" Ron asked.
"I'm helping him with his Quidditch, Nosey." Ginny said.
"I am not Nosey. Im just wondering. Does Harry know you're here?" Ron said.
"Yes, Harry knows she's here, he's the one that said she should come and help me." Micheal said, answering for Ginny.
Ron just stood there, astounded at what he hadjust heard.
"Ron, if that's all, can we go now? It'll be getting dark soon." Ginny said.
"O-ok, I-I'll just go and, er, look for Hermione." Ron replied.



"Cho?! What are you doing here?" Hermione asked as she got to the Fat Lady's portrait.
"Oh! I was, um, just coming to see if Harry was alright" Cho replied, sweetly.
"You do know that he's been out of hospital for a week, right" Hermione said.
"Yes, but I haven't seen him anywhere; and I thought that if I waited out the front of where a lot of Gryffindors go before they go to their Common Room, he might come by before he goes to his Common Room." Cho replied.
"I think Harry's alreay in the Common Room, studying for his History of Magic exam."
"Oh, ok. Could you tell him I came by to just check on him?"Cho asked.
"Sure." Hermione replied.

"Harry, I've been asked by Cho to tell you that she has come to check on...Ron, why do you look so angry?"
"Hermione, where have you been? I haven't seen you all week, and you only come in today, with out even saying hello to me, and you talk to Harry first?" Ron said, gritting his teeth.
"Ron, I was delivering a message to Harry, and i didn't see you in here; I assumed you were in the toilet or the Library." Hermione replied, sounding shocked.
"Well that still doesn't explain where you've been all week."
"That's my business Ron!" Hermione said, astounded.
"Well I'm your boyfriend and that means-"
"That I have to tell you where I go every minute of everyday?! It certainly does not!"
"Well I haven't seen you all week, and I think I deserve to know where you've been going!" Ron said, raising his voice.
"That's my business, and if it concerned you, I'd tell you!" hermione said. She then turned to Harry and told him that Cho was looking for him. Then she cast a glaring look at Ron, then departed for her Dormitory.
"Probably gone to cry her eyes out,' Ron whispered to himself.



After about an hour, Ginny and Micheal left the Quidditch Pitch, covered in mud.
"So, if I turn left instead of right when I go to get a goal, it'll increase my speed?" Micheal asked.
"Yeah, turn left, not right." Ginny replied.
"So, what's so good about Harry?" Micheal asked as he stopped to tie up his shoe lace.
"What do you mean?" Ginny replied suspiciously.
"I mean, why do you go out with him? I mean, he's not the kind of guy I thought you'd go after." Micheal said.
"Why do you want to know? It doesn't concern you." Ginny replied.
"I'm just curious. That's all." Micheal said, getting back up and walking towards the big Oak doors.
"Uh-huh," Ginny said.
