Jane POV-

My brother is really weird, all of a sudden he just burst out laughing, I mean, I thought this Aro guy was weird but now Aro’s starting to look like the good guy. I was really all confused I mean was I an old person or not? Well the good thing is that Alec’s laughing fit is over, finally. “So what now?” I asked. “I will now take you on your first hunt” Aro said standing tall and proud, what was with this guy?
He thinks he’s so cool, but in reality he is really old. So he was standing there, he sort of looked like superman with his hands on his hips, but a really old superman with weird long hair. I glanced over at Alec who was grinning like a complete idiot; well I guess he’s thinking what I’m thinking...I know confusing right? “Hahahaha” he did this really weird laugh and clapped his hands together, I frowned at him, and he sounds like a little girl.
 “I’m just so happy that I found you two” he grinned; now he was the idiot. “Ok...” Alec started to say, “Well then, let’s go hunting, I’m sure your throats are burning by now” he laughed a bit. He was right, my throat was burning, and OMG THE OLD MAN WAS RIGHT! I thought this day would never ever come, wait, I just met this guy. “I know the perfect place” and with that he took off, I stared at where the old man had just once been. I could still smell his scent, it was heading east. I shot of like a rocket, it kind of scared me though because I was running really fast.
I was never actually a good runner before. I kept on tripping on the plants and weeds. We finally came to the centre of the forest. Aro aka old man was standing in the centre with his eyes closed. “I knew you would come” he opened his eyes up; from where I was standing it was easy to tell that he had black eyes, scary. “Why are your eyes red and then now there black?” I asked him, “Ah, you’ve noticed, when I’m hungry, they turn black, our eyes will always be red” he smiled at me which freaked me out a little because the grin was touching his eyes.

Alec POV-

Yeah, so I was running trying to catch up with the old man, I was racing Jane. Although I don’t think she was racing me, she just looked very scary and intense. Her eyes where bright red, it made her even scarier. We came to the centre of the forest where old man was standing with his eyes closed looking all old and stuff.
He opened his eyes, I was staring at the dirt when I heard old dude finally said something “I knew you would come” i looked up, he was standing there with his eyes open. “Why are your eyes red and now there black” Jane asked, man I wish this conversation would go faster so I can go eat some people. “Ah, you’ve noticed, when I’m hungry, they turn black, our eyes will always be red” he smiled at Jane, it probably scared her a little because she jumped back.
We sprinted at full speed through the dark, damp forest. I smiled a bit because Jane kept on tripping on the moss. My throat was burning by the time we reached some humans, “Alec, you go first, try out your gift as well” Aro pushed me towards the people, I smiled a bit. I concentrated on making the people yell and scream and not be able to see. I heard there screams, then I growled low enough for only Jane to hear because I think old man’s hearings going away. I opened my eyes, people were stumbling over each other, it was quite amusing. I attacked the first one i saw, within seconds, the body was drained of blood.
The burn was not that bad but it still hurt, I attacked one more for the trip back. “Jane your turn” Aro said, she stared at one of the people, the person started screaming and flopping to the floor. She didn’t look to happy, so she turned her stare to me. Within seconds I started burning, i flopped to the floor and started screaming like the human was. The pain stopped I stood up and Jane was grinning like a cherish cat again. “Jane, never do that to your brother again” Aro said looking displeased, Jane looked up at him, she nodded once and went and attacked the closest human.
“Well that could of been worse” Aro sighed frustrated at what Jane did, “so does that mean I can cut of her senses for a while?” I felt like an idiot asking, “Never” Aro growled, totally unfair, she can burn me but I’m not allowed to cut off her senses...
