Jane POV-

I wasn’t listening to the conversation my brother and old man were having on the run home. I was still remembering the joy of watching my brother burn...I know... I’m mean. Oh well, Aro looked confused about something, I had no idea what because I can’t read minds or anything, although it would be useful to read minds.
We ran silently through the forest, like dead people, um, I mean... well we are dead but, um, don’t worry. Old man told me not to hurt my brother anymore, but it was just so...amusing to see him scream like a little girl.
The trip back didn’t take long seeing as we were super fast, we avoided direct sunlight. There were plenty of humans around, but old man warned us not to attack, totally not cool. Aro kept on giving me these stern looks like I was about to burn Alec, I have no idea why I don’t just burn Aro...oh, wait, because he will rip my little sweet innocent head of.
That would probably be the end of little Jane, I know I know, don’t cry over me. We reached were the old man first changed us, well we changed into...oh just forget it, were we were like two hours ago. Aro wanted to introduce us to a few of his friends first, I know right, they must be really old too if there friends of old mans.
They all looked like him, well sort of anyway. There was Marcus and Cauis. Cauis always looked unhappy and stuff. And Marcus didn’t really say much, “Are they going to be a part of the upper guard” was all Marcus said, Cauis just scowled, but I scowled back at him. “Yes, Yes that is why I made them” Aro kept talking.
Cauis still scowled at me, I really wanted to burn him so badly, but old man said not to. So not fair...

Alec POV-

Old man kept on talking to me on the way home “Do you like drawing?” he asked heaps of questions, i mean what was with this guy. Is he some sort of stalker or something, do I like drawing “It’s okay” why did I say that? “Where are we going?” I asked, “to visit some of my friends” he replied.
OMG HE HAS FREINDS! Wow I did totally not see that coming. Anyway, the run to old man’s ‘friends’ was quick and smooth. There was Marcus and Cauis, they were both old and frail looking, sort of like if you touched them they would just shatter. Which I think Marcus would.
Cauis on the other wasn’t that old but he was still scary looking, he didn’t say anything the whole time we were there, he just scowled at Jane. I think it amused her because she was scowling back. “Are they going to be a part of the upper guard?” Marcus finally broke the awkward silence. “Yes, Yes that is why I made them” Aro babbled on for a while.
Cauis still continued to scowl at Jane, “We must go now, be prepared” Aro said and dragged Jane and I away. We ran back through the forest, “What do we have to be prepared for?” i heard Jane ask, “There are many things we have to be prepared for” oh great so he was thinking what, twenty years ahead of him.
He thinks that something bad will happen just like that. Whilst we were running back, we heard shouting from humans close by, they were being turned. So my mistake something may have happened just like that...
