Blurb
Ever since Lionblaze and Jayfeather have found out that Dovepaw is the third in the Prophecy, because Hollyleaf has dissapeared, they have been trying to figure out what Dovepaw's power is. And they might be able to stop the fight between StarClan and the Place of No Stars.

Prologue
The moon shone above a clearing of cats. A blue she-cat with a silver muzzle was standing on a boulder. "Cats of StarClan!" She yowled. "The Place of No Stars have been trespassing on our territory." A black cat looked up at the cat. "What are we going to do Bluestar?" She asked. "Clearly, they have no right to do that!"
"Calm down Hollyleaf!" Bluestar said. "We will see what happens. And if it happens again, we'll fight them." Hollyleaf nodded. A lion-like cat stood up. "I will fight with all of my power." He said, dipping his head.
"Thanks Lionheart" Bluestar said, smiling. "Now, we'll send out a hunting patrol. We can't be hungry if there's going to be a battle!" The clearing of stary cats cheered.

Chapter 1
Jayfeather woke to the sound of cats talking in the clearing. What now?He thought. He padded up to the entrance of the medicine den. Brambleclaw was talkingto Firestar. "The cubs were snapping at Ivypaw." Brambleclaw was explaining. "Did she get hurt?" Firestar mewed. Jayfeather could hear worry in his voice. "Only a small gash on her nose. I told her to go to Jayfeather." Brambleclaw said. Jayfeather padded up to the talking cats. "Any blood?" He asked.
"Only a little bit." Brambleclaw meowed.
Jayfeather nodded. "I'll get some cobwebs." He said, bounding off. He reached the den and peered inside, sniffing for cobwebs. He smelt it straight away and wrapped some around his paw. Jayfeather walked up to Ivypaw. "Put these on your wound." he meowed. Ivypaw groaned. "Do I have to?" Se whined.
"If you want to be good at scenting prey, then yes." Jayfeather pushed on. Ivypaw rolled her eyes. "Fine." she muttered. "I wanted to hunt them foxes..." Ivypaw unwound some of the the cobweb and Jayfeather helped press it on her wound. "Now rest for a bit." Jayfeather said.
"But I have hunting patrol!" Ivypaw moaned.
"I'll just tell Cinderheart that you can't go." Jayfeather said and before Ivypaw could answer, he walked off. "Cinderheart!" He called when he scented her getting some fresh kill. "Ivypaw can't go hunting for a while." He said. Cinderheart nodded. "No problem" She said. "And I think Lionblaze and Dovepaw want to talk to you" Jayfeather smiled and bounded off towards his den

Chapter 2
Dovepaw and Lionblaze waited at the Medicine cat den for Jayfeather. Where is he? Dovepaw thought, until she saw him. "Hi Jayfeather!" She meowed. Jayfeather smiled "Hey," He said. "now, what did you want to talk about?"
"Dovepaw thinks she knows what her power is!" Lionblaze said. "Go on. Tell him"
"I can sense things, faraway things." Dovepaw mewed
"How do you sense them?" Jayfeather asked
"I-I hear them, and smell them, and sort of get glimpses."
"Do you hear everything all the time?"
"It's all kind of there - around me, in the background. I'm used to it. Like... like you don't see every tree around you all the time but you know what they look like, you can remember which is which. You can focus on one tree or, if something's out of place or unusual, it'll catch your eye - it'll make you look harder."
Jayfeather nodded. "Okay. So I can go in to other cat's dreams, Lionblaze can win a battle without being hurt, and Dovepaw can remember things that she hasn't seen before." Dovepaw nodded. "It's kinda weird." She said.
"What is?" Lionblaze asked.
"Being one of the three" Dovepaw mewed.
"You'll get used to it" Jayfeather said. "Do yo-" He was cut off by an agonising yowl. "Never-mind" He sighed. "Bye" He walked off towards the yowling. I wonder what he was going to say Dovepaw thought.

Chapter 3
Lionblaze sat in a sunny patch of grass, letting the sun warm his fur. "Lionblaze!" A voice called. "Border patrol!" Lionblaze got up and bounded to Sandstorm. "Okay, Sandstorm!" He said. I wish Hollyleaf was here.... He thought, sighing. "Is something wrong?" Sandstorm asked.
"No" Lionblaze said. Sandstorm nodded and padded off. Lionblaze went to join the border-patrol. Squirrelflight, Dovepaw, Firestar and Brightheart where there. "Are we ready?" Firestar asked. Everyone nodded. "Alright, lets go!" He said. The five cats padded out of the camp. It was a always and honour to do a border-patrol with the leader. Lionblaze parted his jaws to taste the air. "WindClan!" Dovepaw hissed. A WindClan cat was helping herself to a nice plump vole. Heathertail! Lionblaze thought. She looked up and snarled. "Get off WindClan territory!" She hissed.
"This is ThunderClan territory" Firestar said.
"No it isn't" Heathertail snarled.
"Don't make me make you!" Lionblaze said.
Heathertail looked at him, anger and pain in her eyes. "Get off my case!"
"Get off my territory!" Lionblaze hissed.
"WindClan has claimed this territory" Heathertail said. She sprung herself at Lionblaze and they wrestled around, hissing and spitting.
"Stop!" Firestar yowled. "Heathertail, go"
Heathertail snarled and stalked of towards camp. Dovepaw padded up to Lionblaze. "Are you okay?" She asked. Lionblaze nodded. "Shall we carry on?" Firestar nodded and they padded up to the WindClan border. "You mark the scent markers, Dovepaw and I are going to find some prey" Lionblaze said. "Come on then" Dovepaw and Lionblaze bounded off into the forest.

Chapter 4
The pale moon sky shone on the clearing of cats. "Shush!" A ShadowClan cat said. "The gathering is starting!" Dovepaw looked up at the four leaders. Blackstar was licking his chest. He sure has a large ego! She thought. Mistyfoot stepped forwards. "As RiverClan cats know, Leopardstar has died" Gasps of shock rose from WindClan, ThunderClan and ShadowClan. Mistyfoot raised her tail for silence. "She will be missed in RiverClan, but we all die sooner or later." Dovepaw could see some of the cats nod to the cat beside them. "Prey is running good" Mistyfoot finished off. She stepped back and Firestar stepped forwards. "ThunderClan is doing well" He said. "We have two new apprentices. Dovepaw and Ivypaw" Dovepaw saw Ivypaw puff out her chest fur. Dovepaw dipped her head to Firestar and he went on; "Prey is running fine here too" He stepped back. "ShadowCla-" Blackstar was cut off by a loud howling sound. "Wolves!" Dovepaw hissed in Ivypaw's ear.

Chapter 5
Jayfeather leaned over to Kestrelflight. "What's happening?" He asked. He could smell his fear. "T-there are wolves. The moon is still shining brightly" He said. "Why aren't they sending a cloud to cover it?" This is where we come in... Jayfeather thought. Jayfeather ran to where he could scent Lionblaze and Dovepaw. "Lionblaze! Dovepaw!" He hissed. Dovepaw looked up. "what are we going to do?" He meowed. Jayfeather could picture her with clouded eyes. "The prophe-" Jayfeather stopped. "Heathertail is listening" He whispered to Lionblaze. He moved closer to the two. "The prophecy." He said again. "This is where we lead them into going back to their camp!" Lionblaze and Dovepaw exchanged worried glances. "Don't worry" Jayfeather said. "I'll think of something." I hope... He added silently in his head. Lionblaze nodded. "I might have an idea." He said. "Jayfeather, can you get in touch with StarClan?" Jayfeather nodded. "I need somewhere quiet though." He said. "I'll go find some bushes or something." He bounded off. Jayfeather scented for a small bush he could curl up in.
