Kaylee-Jayne used to be the most popular girl in primary school. But thats when everybody turned on her for the year six farewell. Now she has Frizzy, Crimson coloured hair and nerdy glasses. Now every day in high school is agony, that's why everybody calls her, Frizzy Crimson.

My brush ran through my knotted hair as I looked in the mirror, frowning at what I saw. I was not pleased. The fear of another day of high school began when I looked in the mirror. My facial features are perfect, not meaning to brag, but it’s my hair, a crimson red colour, all frizzed up, and large nerdy glasses. In primary school, I had lovely brown hair, that everyone wished they had, and lovely big eyes. Then in the playground, the big school bully kicked dirt in my eyes because he thought it made him look cool. That’s when I really needed glasses. And on the day before the year 6 farewell, word got out that I hated my best friend. Then, on the night of the year 6 farewell, every one came over to me and asked if they could do my hair. They insisted so I said yes. After many bottles of hair spray and many people playing with my hair, I had frizzy crimson hair, ugly to the bone. That’s why everybody calls me ‘Frizzy Crimson’ and I’ve been unpopular ever since.
“Honey, it’s time for school!” My mum called from the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and stormed out of my bedroom. Stomping my feet down the stairs, and having my bag nearly falling off my shoulder like it was dust, made mum suspect something.
