HP Fan Fiction - The Disastrous Wedding -COMPLETED

Hi Everyone,

Sarah & Myself are writing a few Harry Potter stories together, This story is about
when Ron proposes to Hermione & Harry proposes to Ginny and they have a double
wedding but when someone is walking down the aisle something terrible will happen to
them. Who could it be?

I hope you enjoy our first story.

The birds were chirping the sun was streaming through the curtains of Hermione's flat. Hermione heard someone knock at the door, she got up and put her dressing gown on, and it was Ron of course.
"What are you doing her Ron?" Hermione said, yawning.
“I was wandering if you would like to go to dinner with me tonight?” Ron said excitedly.
“I’d love too,” said Hermione. “But I don't know why you couldn't say it over the phone?”
“Well, it’s going to be very special,” said Ron secretly.

The day went by Hermione was doing some work for the Ministry of Magic when she realized what the time was. She rushed home and put on her best outfit. Later Ron arrived with a Bouquet of Red Roses. Hermione went and put them in a vase and then went out to the Restaurant. When they arrived at the Restaurant, Ron went up to the counter.
 "Reservation for Weasley?" he asked.
 The lady over the counter quickly checked the system.
 "Sorry Sir, I can’t find a booking for Weasley,"
Of course Ron got very mad. The lady kept apologizing he was about to lose it even more until Hermione talked to the lady.
“Excuse Me, Are you sure there is a reservation under Weasley?" she asked.
“I’m sure,” replied the lady.
“Thankyou for you time,” Ron said.
“Let’s just go back to my place and on our way back we can get some takeaway.” Hermione suggested.
 "Okay," Ron replied.

When they arrived back at the flat where Hermione lives, Hermione turned on the lights to find a little tiny box sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Ron, what’s this?" Hermione asked, as she opened the box.
At that moment, Ron knelt down on one knee, and said four little words to her. “Hermione, will you marry me?"
“YES!" Hermione screamed excitedly, as she wrapped her arms around him.

“Harry, what are we doing here?” Ginny Weasley asked her boyfriend of five years, Harry Potter. “You know mum and dad are in India, Percy lives with Audrey, George lives at the shop, and Ron moved to London.”
Harry looked at her. “Yeah, I know all that.” He said, taking Ginny’s hand, and walking her into the orchard. “I just thought it’d be something nice we could do together; especially since there’s barely anything to do in this heat.”
Ginny just stared at him. She couldn’t believe what was coming out of his mouth.
‘Did he really bring me here so we could walk together?’ she thought to herself.
“You look confused,” Harry said.
“I am a bit,” she replied. “I still don’t understand what we’re doing here though.”
“I thought you might like to come back to the Burrow for a day.” Harry replied.
“What are you getting at?” Ginny said, eyeing him.
“Nothing, nothing,” Harry said, as he put his arm around her waist. “I just thought it might be nice to have a walk around the yard together, without Ron or George or anyone else around; just the two of us.”
Ginny wasn’t convinced. “Ok, but-”
“Don’t worry, and just relax,” Harry said, with a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Harry was nervous, but not like when he was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team about to play for the House Cup. These were different nerves altogether. Harry was about to do something that could change his life forever. More life-changing than when Lord Voldemort murdered his parents when he was only a year old, and more life-changing than when he defeated Lord Voldemort, when he was only 17.
“Come this way,” Harry said, as he let go of Ginny’s waist and hand, and walked further, leaving her in the tree’s shadow.
“Harry, where are you taking me?” Ginny asked, as she followed Harry; completely confused about what was happening. Usually, she and Harry would practise magic and Quidditch together at their house in Godric’s Hollow. She was completely bewildered, and didn’t understand what was going on.
Then she saw it. Hundreds, upon hundreds of candles floating in the air just above head height. Then she saw Harry sitting on a picnic rug in the middle of the clearing, with porcelain-like flowers surrounding him.
Ginny was stunned. She had no idea what Harry had planned for today, but she had some kind of an idea.
“Ginny,” Harry said as he dragged her towards him on the rug. “I brought you here, The Burrow, because this was the place that I fell in love with you. I wanted to come back here, to move on.”
Ginny looked confused, but she felt intrigued.
“Ginevra Molly Weasley, will you marry me?” Harry asked, as he fell on bended knee.
Ginny fainted.

After Ron proposed, Hermione just had to tell Ginny. She and Ron left for The Burrow to see if anyone was there. As they walked in the door, they saw Ginny unconscious on the couch, with Harry next to her. Ginny was starting to wake up. As she did, one word escaped from her lips. “Yes,”
Harry had a huge smile on his face.
Ginny & Harry turned to see that Hermione & Ron were standing at the door. “What are you doing here?” Harry asked.
“Well…” said Hermione. “We have some news.”
 “We do too,” Ginny replied.
Hermione then said, “I am getting married.”
Ginny was shocked as she said “I am engaged too!”
Hermione & Ginny hugged each other and were cheering.
Harry & Ron shook hands, and then everyone gave each other either a hug or handshake. Ginny had an idea.
“Why don’t we have a double wedding?” said Ginny.
“What a great idea!” Hermione said excitedly, forgetting to check with Ron & Harry. Ginny & Hermione turned around seeing their fiancé’s standing there.

"Harry? Harry?" Ginny said, staring at Harry's blank fave later that night back in Godric's Hollow. "Harry, for Godric Gryffindor's sake, say something!"
"Er," Harry managed to get out.
"Well, that's something, I guess." Ginny replied. "I'm going to go make dinner."
As she left the room, Harry just sat on the couch, staring into the fire, like he had done all afternoon. He knew he should feel happy about Ginny saying yes to his proposal, but he thought it wasn't very special anymore, now that he was sharing his wedding day with Ron and Hermione. He also knew he should be happy that his two best friends had finally gotten together, and he was, but it was all bad timing.

About an hour later, there was a knock at the front door.
"Who could that be? It's 8:30pm!" Harry said, finally speaking properly.
"I'll go check," Ginny said as she went down the hall to the door.
As she opened it, a shocked look on her face arose.
"H-Harry, can you c-come here p-please?" she stuttered.
"Yeah," Harry said as he left the kitchen. "What's wrong?"
When Harry got to the door, he realised why Ginny stuttered. Standing on the thresh hold of Harry and Ginny's home, was Draco Malfoy.
