It's not as though -snap- you can draw. It takes a lot of time and patience. Believe it or not, but a few years ago I couldn't draw very well at all [I am actually on the hunt for an old piccy I drew]. An easy way to practise is by finding something that will be easy to draw. So don't go and try draw something like a dragon straight away, start with small objects [eg. shoes]. Sit it down somewhere and try and draw it. If you want, try and shade it in. Another alternative is to look on the internet. There are hundreds of sites out there with easy step-by-step how to draw. - If you are having trouble drawing something, try turning the page and drawing it upside down. This makes you concentrate harder and can actually give you a better ending result [I learnt this when I did art at school] - If there is one thing you want to get better at, draw it over and over. Try drawing it different ways. If it is an animal [eg. horse] look at cartoon drawings and photos to get the shape of the object/animal you wish to draw. Take a stab at drawing it standing, running, lying down, etc. - Personally, I usually draw animals facing to the left [starts at the left, ends at the right]. This is because I am right handed and I find it easier to start by drawing the head. I very rarely start by drawing another part of the body. By doing it this way, my arm doesn't block what I have already drawn and makes it easier to keep the image straight [rather than slanting down or up]. - Try drawing random lines on the page and use your imagination to turn it into something. You'll be amazed at what you can come up with by doing this. -Kristy(: |

can you teach me how to draw an owl? What I'll do is give you all tips on how to get better a drawing things .. but if you want the first thing I will draw for you all to have a go at is an owl. We can all learn together .. [I can't draw owls XD] |
