Chapter 31:

8 months later
‘Scorpios what?’ Rose asked curiously.
‘Remember when I asked you to ask me another day?’ Scorpios replied.
‘Of course, just so much has happened since then, wait I’ll ask you now’ Rose laughed ‘What did you want to tell me?’
‘Last time I asked you this James interrupted, so I wanted to do this properly one more time. I never thought I’d find the girl of my dreams outside of my Slytherin lifestyle, but I did, I found you Rose everytime I see you I can’t see anything or anyone but you. When I lose myself you help me find myself, you mean everything to me Rosie, and you’re carrying our child. So Rose Kaitlin Weasley will you marry me?’ Scorpios asked worried
‘Yes, yes Scorpios Draco Malfoy I will marry you, nothing’s going to stop me this time’ She replied kissing him. Scorpios hands rested gently on her waist as he kissed her back. Then Rose let out a scream of pain.
‘Rosie?’ Scorpios
‘I think you’re about to become a father’ Rose replied, holding onto Scorpios ‘I need to get to the Burrow now, mum said they were going there today!’
‘You okay to apparated?’ Scorpios asked and Rose nodded and Scorpios turned on the spot taking Rose with him but splincing himself in the process. Rose screamed again when she saw what had happened to Scorpios. Laura came running out of the Burrow the moment she saw the commotion she shouted as she ran to Rose and Scorpios
‘JAMES! HERMIONE! RON! EVERYONE HELP!’ Everyone ran out of the Burrow. James got to them first and grabbed hold of Scorpios and with Albus help took him into the house. Rose meanwhile tears running down her face was being supported by Laura and crying for her mum and Scorpios. Ron grabbed hold of his daughter and helped her inside. Hermione took her from him and Rose cried even more.
‘Mu-m, I, I ca-can’t, l-l-o-se, Sc-or-p-p-ios’
‘Rosie, James isn’t going to let that happened’ Hermione replied calming Rose down, but Scorpios screamed the same moment Rose did.

2 hours later
‘You know I didn’t want to knock him out’ James exclaimed to his parents who looked furious with him.
‘James Sirius Potter, he’ll remember what just happened and he won’t be at all happy’ Ginny exclaimed to her son, as she left the room to go find Hermione. Harry and James turned back to Scorpios whom James had knocked out because
1. James couldn’t treat him, he was in too much pain
2. It was harder as he listened to Rose screams
Ginny re-entered the room with Laura who was carrying a baby.
‘Rose is asleep’ Ginny whispered ‘How’s Scorpios now?’
‘Mum it’s only been like 2minutes he’s still the same. Boy or Girl?’ James replied
‘Girl’ Laura whispered ‘Our God Daughter oh and Teddy and Victorie arrived ten minutes ago.’ When Harry heard that he left the room to go see his God Son.
Scorpios could hear everything that was going on in the room. His leg felt weak and irritating he just wanted to rip it off. He noticed that Laura was talking about a baby girl whom, he suspected to be his daughter. He opened his eyes slowly and tried to sat up and saw that Laura was holding a baby girl.
‘Rose?’ he asked worried
‘She’s fine’ Laura replied kneeling down beside the bed holding the baby girl and passing her to him. He looked at his daughter who was now awake and her bright blue stared into his, her white hair as white as his had once been. But the shape of her face was definitely Rose.
‘I want to see Rose’ Scorpios asked still worried.
‘She’s still asleep’ Ginny replied softly, as she re-entered the room once again. Scorpios passed his daughter back to Laura who took that by surprise but took hold of her God daughter. Scorpios started to stand up and James put his arm around Scorpios shoulder and helped him up.
‘Looks like you really want to see her’ James laughed
‘Yeah I really do’ Scorpios smiled.
As they left the room they came face to face with Teddy who put his arm around Scorpios as well and helped James get Scorpios to the lounge.
Rose was asleep on Hermione’s lap and Hermione was running her fingers through her daughter’s hair. Hermione saw Scorpios, James and Teddy enter the room.
‘Want to swap places with me Scorpios?’ Hermione asked like she knew the answer.
‘If that’s okay with you?’ Scorpios replied.
‘Its fine’ She replied as she got up slowly enough not to wake Rose and let Scorpios take her place. Rose breathing was heavy, like she knew something was missing from her but her body was too scared to admit it to her. Scorpios kissed her forehead softly and as he did Rose began to stir. When she opened her eyes the first person she saw was Scorpios.
‘Scorpios, are you okay, you got splinced?’ Rose asked.
‘I’m fine, just a little mad at James for knocking me out’ Scorpios replied.
(Elsewhere in the room, Hugo was passing George 5 galleons as George had won the bet).
Laura walked over slowly still carrying Rose and Scorpios daughter in her arms and passed her to Rose who had sat up on Scorpios lap.
‘She’s beautiful exactly like her Father, except’ Rose couldn’t find the right words
‘She has the same shaped face as you’ Scorpios whispered
‘What are you going to call her’ James asked as he took Laura into his arms.
Rose looked outside and watched the rain poor down outside, making everything bright with colour.
‘Scorpios what about Raine?’ Rose asked
‘Raine its perfect,’ Scorpios replied
‘Raine Hermione Astoria Malfoy’ Rose whispered nursing Raine in her arms.

6 months later
Rose took a deep breath in as she grasped her Dads arm as Laura (holding Raine), Lily and Victoire stood infront of her. Behind those door Scorpios was waiting for her flanked by Teddy, Albus and James.
‘You ready Roise?’ Ron asked
‘As ready as I’ll ever be’ Rose replied as tears rolled down her cheeks.
‘Don’t cry Rosie’ Ron whispered
‘I can’t help it Dad, I really just can’t believe I’m marrying him today’ Rose replied and the door opened slowly and one by one (or by two in Laura and Raines case). Rose bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Then Rose and Ron walked down the aisle behind them. As Rose let go of Ron’s arm and took Scorpios it final came to light that very soon she’d no longer be a Weasley she’d be a Malfoy, but then she remember that she was a Gryffindor and Gryffindor’s where brave and she’d always be a Weasley no matter what.
‘Good afternoon and welcome to the wedding of Rose Kaitlin Weasley and Scorpios Draco Malfoy’ the wizard who had conducted James and Laura’s wedding and so many others announced.
‘Rose do you take Scorpios Draco Malfoy to be your lawfully wedded husband through sickness and in health, for richer and poorer, till death do thy part?’ the wizard asked.
‘I do’ Rose replied clutching Scorpios hands
‘Scorpios do you take Rose Kaitlin Weasley to be your lawfully wedded wife through sickness and in health, for richer and poorer, till death do thy part?’ the wizard asked once again.
‘I do’ Scorpios asked.
‘The rings?’ The wizard asked and as he did Teddy jammed his hand into the pocket of his dress robes and pulled out to rings and passed them to the wizard who gave one to Scorpios and asked his to repeat what he said which was “With his ring I be wed”
‘With this ring I be wed’ Scorpios repeated as he slipped the ring onto Rose’s finger. The wizard then gave the other ring to Rose and once again asked her to repeat him.
‘With this ring I be wed’ Rose repeated as she also slipped the ring onto Scorpios finger.
‘I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride’ the wizard announced.
Scorpios kissed her more passionately than ever before and Rose was over the top in joy.
‘Presenting Mr and Mrs, Scorpios and Rose Malfoy’ the wizard announced and the whole church went into a round of applause.
