My story (T+)

This story is T+ which means it's for teenagers and over, but I will edit it to try and make it for everyone.

The day was growing darker and darker and Shawna Genett was lying down on her bed, her feet swinging in the air, reading a book, when a knock at the door interrupted her. Shawna righted herself to a sitting position, when her door opened. Shawna’s parents entered into her room. Shawna’s Mother, Carli, had moss green eyes, which Shawna had inherited from her, and shoulder length, wavy brown hair. Shawna’s Father, Darren, had Blue eyes and, like Shawna, shiny red hair.  She was surprised to see her parents standing there, for they usually always left her alone, you see, Shawna was never the ideal daughter; she was always shunned to the side ever since she started kindergarten. Shawna had no friends, no... Nothing, all she had was just good marks at school.

I will be posting paragraph by paragraph so I will only update if I get enough good reviews. Gosh, this is starting to sound a, authors note for a fanfic xD

“What’s up?” Asked Shawna, as she folded the corner of the page she was reading. Her parents hesitated on what they were going to say.

Her mother spoke, “It’s about school,” She started “We’ve noticed that you haven’t been exactly happy there, so we’ve been thinking, were going to move you to a new school”

“Very funny, guys” Shawna said, disbelieving.

“It’s not a joke,” Carli said seriously “We already enrolled you at the school

“What School is it?” Shawna asked, starting to like this conversation less and less.

“Meadowbrook School for Frivolous Pupils” Said her father seriously.

“Oh,” Shawna said in a small voice, “I didn’t realise it had to be that far away.” Shawna had heard about this school, it was famous for their wild pupils, and Shawna, never in her wildest dreams, ever thought of going there.

“But it’s a boarding school!” Shawna burst out, unable to take in the awkward silence any longer.

“We know, that’s why you’re going there, you’ll be in a room, with lots of new people, and you’ll be able to make new friends” Shawna’s mother said calmly.

That was how Shawna knew that her parents thought that she was a loner, as well as a stupid daughter. When she didn’t reply, her parents left her room.

Shawna was so angry at her parents, how dare they move her to a new school without consulting her first, what kind of parents did that? Well her parents, obviously. Growing tiered; Shawna pulled off her clothes and climbed into her pyjamas and freed her hair of her ponytail. She then stripped back her lilac bedcovers and climbed in. She laid her head down onto her pillow and fell into a dreamless sleep.

After two weeks of buying Shawna’s uniform and packing her suit case, it was finally time to go. Where Shawna could possibly leave her old life behind and start a new one.

Shawna sat in the back of the family car, while her Father heaved her luggage into boot of the car, she had asked if he needed any help, but he insisted that she sit in the car. Shawna’s mum came out of the house and locked the door behind her.
