Actually I asked mum why both my sister and I are Virgos and why so many people are born around then and the answer for the most part is simple logic... Back a while ago they didn't have disposable nappies. So when it is easiest to dry cloth nappies...when its is sunny. So when does the most sun occur? Spring onwards. |

I did my pregnancy test on New years eve, and my hubby was at work overnight, and I showed him the next morning when he got home (went to work one year didnt come home til the next LOL), anyway I said I had a new years present for him, he said what? we dont give new years presents - good thing he was already in bed else he might have fainted when I showed him. hehe |

Good one Kelly, that would have been a beautiful present for him.
Now back to the Bk parties(as there are children who may be reading this post and are getting a bit confused) so far i have seen no shops advertising a Bk VIP party for Beanie Master this coming Sunday 18th here in the South East of Melbourne.
I know that there are quite a few shops who don't even open on a Sunday and a few of them said that they could not be bothered with doing a party this year as it was all on such short notice. I think that is why so many shops just put the VIP Beanie Master beanie kids size and Cuddly kid size on the shelves to sell. Some shops are raffling the CK VIP BM off as a 'Buy 2 beanie kids in September and get a raffle ticket into a draw to win a Limited Edition CK' competition.
I am hanging out for Carl to have his BK party......

I think the reason they have chosen Sundays for a party, is because stores dont open on Sundays, so they can just concentrate on the party and dont have to worry about the rest of the shop.

Most of the ones listed throughout Brisbane seem to not be having a party at all. They are simply buy a beanie and go into the draw. Mum rang a few yesterday and was told no party happening...  |

We went to one today and the people running it were so nice! They had an awesome balloon man who could make anything out of balloons! He made my son a Yoshi and my other son a hat with a ball inside of it and when you pull the end of the balloon the right way it makes the ball go ping to the other end of the hat  Here is Yoshi  I have put the bears I got today in my topic  |

Yes and most of Mr Toys and Toyworld have stopped stocking BKs up here so we really only have Smokemart and some other smaller shops selling them yeah seems a bit that way, doesnt it.
So hard when some of the managers of Smokemart are collectors too , so you cant get hold of any mutes there because they dont make it on the shelves I think we all miss those days Erika |

Yes we all miss those days!!!
And that is my idea of a store party where there were games and competitions and great door prizes and BK give aways and sometimes CKs and GBKs as prizes, where the kids would dress as their favourite BK and really get some fun out of it...
I don't consider a colouring competition a store party...and don't get me started on the gift bags...
