There are a lot of people who don't understand our need to collect beanie kids. If your family complains, tell them to look here and see how many beanie kids some people have. Some of us have 1000 or more.

Same. They always tell me "whats the point?" They say I don't play with them enough-I don't, I collect. My mum helps me pick the bears I get though.
I have 103 Beanie Kids, They think its a lot, but when I tell them about people who have more than 500-1000 beanies, there mouth drops and eyes pop open "you will not have that many" They say :/
Lol ditto except I have 65.

My family and friends call me the Beanie Kid Queen as i have over 2000 Bk and hundreds of accessories in my collection now. As i am also a reseller of retired Bks and attend fairs all over Victoria so many collectors also know me as the BK Queen.
When we decided to build our new house 4 years ago, i had my own special Bk room built to fit all my collection in. Now that room is nearly full and i may need to extend outwards into my reading room which is just opposite my BK room. Would need to put a new wall up to protect the collection from sunlight as that room faces the pergola/alfresco area. Something tells me that Steve will not like that idea.
Oh well, maybe i will need to put away my' My Little Pony' collection so that i get that extra display case empty to get another years worth of BK's into the existing BK room.

I suggested that my youngest daughter should get her own place, so I can have her room for beanie kids.
2 years later, I am still waiting. LOL

My youngest daughter is Hannah. Sarah and her husband Daniel also live with me. (I don't really want Hannah to move out.)

I am very lucky. My daughter and her fiance live on the farm with us in the old farmhouse where the barns are. My son and his family live about 8 minutes from me so i have my family very close by but still have only myself and Steve in our home now.
