Can someone please tell me why the collect and get bears are sent with tag protectors if they're not actually gonna put them on the tag??? What is the point??? Just shoving them in a bag with the tag protectors still in the plastic wrap doesn't protect the tags at all - not happy with the creased tags on the bears I received today.

It is very disappointing when you're a collector rather than just a kiddie who will be playing with them, isn't it? I think they've had enough time (since the new style tags were introduced) to either alter the size of the tags so they fit current tp's or make new style tp's. The quality of the bears has gone so far downhill it's not funny. It's near impossible to find good tags as the corner where the tag is attached is now a lot 'softer' (the only word I can think of) and is very easily bent or even torn. I'm sure the quality - or lack of - is beginning to annoy a lot of serious collectors. I know I am buying less than I used to. I have a 'theme' and am just buying bears that fit that theme. No extras these days!!

Id rather than either sent them without the tag protectors on, or put them in the larger sized one, as they fit in those, they try to squash them into ones that dont fit.
But you are right, they have had enough time to fix the sizing of the tags, its so annoying!

I totaly agree! I had just posted this in my topic before I saw this:
I got my full set of Pirate bears yesterday too and I have the same errors as Erika - so yippee for that!
I received the small tps just in the bag but not on the bears (of course they don't fit!) and some of my tags are damaged, also some of their faces are horrible so I'm not entirely impressed with them. The quality of Beanie Kids is really not what it used to be and I'm getting a bit tired of spending a fortune and being disappointed

Skansen have now fixed the problem since this topic was made  I didn't know that. Great!!!!!!  I was hoping they'd do something before I ordered my BKs. |
