Does anyone know if the TBK's will be available in NZ? I'm guessing they won't be because NZ doesn't have Woolworths stores anymore.

that would be because the majority of beanie kids sales happen in Australia. I believe that NZ is losing all their stockist due to poor sales and also how hard it is to get the stock, didn't the distributor of beanie kids in NZ change?.

NZ is losing their stockists because BK's aren't promoted at all here. No stockist parties, bk shows, advertising or anything. The distributor changing was a good thing because NZ gained 11 new stockists when the distributor changed.

I used to get Tiny BK's in NZ but now all Woolworths stores have been changed into Countdowns I doubt we will get them. It is a shame though because they sold well here.

I haven't seen promotion of beanie kids near me in years, and the last stockist party I went to was back in 2009. I believe they need to start doing more brand awareness as the number of stockists near me has reduced by half in the last 3 years, ever since Skansen changed ownership.

Yeah 2009 was the most amazing year for BK parties, I was going to one every week and our collection about tripled that year thanks to parties! I think there may have been 1 or 2 in 2010, and none that I know of in 2011, no stockist near here even had one for the birthday month to give away the VIP CK, they just raffled him off.

When they had the parties , it was the stockist who held the party , the stockist would tell the rep that they wanted to have a party and then they would work out what they would need and all that and then Skansens would send the stock out to them , its like what they do with the shows

I checked woolies in the toy section and the easter section and the food section, then asked and they took me to another easter section that had easter novelties and found them there, I spent ages choosing the ones I wanted, if you are in the right light you can see them thru the egg, I chose a pink one thinking it wa the pink bunny, and got Eggbert, I chose another one with small ears, not bunny ears thinking it was Eggbert, and it was so ended up with two if him, and then chose another one and ended up with another Chirp. So now I have 3 and Georgia has 3 - we have the same 3
