Howdy all - I just found out that you are meant to get TWO redemption stickers for each ShowBag you purchase - Ive bought two so far this year and got NO redemption stickers.  Boo hoo thats fours stickers I missed out on.

Did anybody get redemptions stickers with their show bags?

Yes Kelly we got redemption stickers with our BK showbag at the Newcastle show. Yes I noticed that in the BK Times email as well.

I didn't realise how rare those horatio bears are, I got one at the Sydney show this year and luckily kept it away from my 4yo lol. I'm thinking of putting it up for sale on ebay.

I didn't get any redemption stickers either, I didn't realise we were supposed to.

Yep, Perth Royal Show....I can't wait!! I am sure Mum will let me go, then I can go on the scary rides! Aswell as trying to get Horatio. I like this year and last years as the year before I had to pay about $50 to get the Perth Show bag Atleast I can get 2 for that much.

i never read that, that means ive missed out on around 20 stickers (if its 2 per bag). if that the case they should really cut them out and put them in the bags before they sell them. its a mad house trying to buy bags at the melbourne show as it is, without having to ask for the stickers

That is a very good point Stacey, they should do that, I think they have to make up the bags anyway so they may as well add the stickers at the same time.

heard a whisper that the redemption stamps with the showbags are only a new addition to the bag, implemented by the store running this show. unsure if the stamps are going to be included in any other bags this year.

Oh okay, could be, as I havent heard about it before.  But it seemed like the way it said dont forget to get your envelope and stickers, that is was a general reminder as the Sydney show forgot to put the envelopes in quite a few bags, so Ive been told.

I sent Carl a PM asking him if it was correct for all show bags, but he hasnt gotten back to me as yet.

I think if it is in the BK Times, its obviously approved by Skansen, and I thought this year all the show bags had to be the same.  I cannot wait to hear how Adelaide runs their show this year, as they always do something different to make it harder to get the show bear in Adelaide.  Apparently Adelaide is always one of the hardest places to get the Show Bear.  Doesnt matter to me anyway, as I wont be buying anymore show bags this year, as I cannot afford to go to the show and I know I wont get the show bear so I will just be wasting my time and money anyway.  I dont know why I thought this year would be any different for me, seems I am destined to never get a show bear.  Oh well, such is life   At least I have had a bit of luck with Mutes this year tho.

Yes I have had luck with mutes this year, but no luck with show bears before, I will have to wait until September/October to find out if I will get Horatio!

I'm thinking that if I don't win an Ekka Horatio I will wait until next year and get one off eBay.  Because the Ken Kelpies have come right down in their selling prices on eBay since Horatio came out, so when next years show bear comes out this years should be a bit cheaper so I'll wait.
