How do I join the website Fan Club?
If you would like to join our website, all you need to do is click on the "JOIN NOW" button at the top-right of the homepage inside the star, or you can just roll your mouse over the BK Fan Club button on the top-right of this page and click the JOIN NOW link.
Did you fill in all your details correctly?
It is important to fill in ALL of your details correctly when joining the website. Most importantly make sure your email address is real! If you type in an address that does not exist or does not belong to you then you will not receive the activation email. If you want to enter our online competitions it is also important you fill in your address and phone number (including area code) details correctly.
I joined but did not receive my activation email?
After you have finished joining, an activation email should be sent to the email address you registered with. Sometimes it may take up to 1 hour so please be patient. If you still did not receive this email even after waiting, you can try to login on this page and click the link to resend the activation email. If you still do not receive the email then it could be because:
- the email you entered was incorrect: if so you will need to rejoin with the correct email
- the email has gone into your junk mail folder: please check in your junk mail folder
- your email provider is blocking it: add noreply@beaniekids.com to your safe-senders list
I can't join because it says my email address is already registered?
For security and privacy reasons the website does not allow an email address to be registered to more than one person. We understand that some parents/guardians may want all their children to be registered under one address, but unfortunately this cannot be done (instead we recommend you register an additional email address for free at Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo to use for the site).
If you tried joining the website with your email address but never received the activation email and need to join again using the same email, please contact the Beanie Master for assistance. Or if you think that someone has registered your email address without your permission and want to register it again under your own name, you should contact the Beanie Master immediately.
I can't join because it says the username is already taken?
For security and privacy reasons the website does not allow a username to be registered to more than one person. You should try typing in a different word or nickname into Username: field on the join page - just make sure it is something you can easily remember.
As of September 2008, a username can only contain letters, numbers and underscores - it cannot contain any spaces or special characters (e.g. @#$%&!?)

Are you typing your username & password correctly?
Sometimes you may not be able to login because you are not typing your username or password correctly. Here are some tips we think you should check before contacting us:
- make sure you don't have CAPS LOCK on
- if you have spaces or capital letters in your username make sure you type them
- try the Forgotten Password page to reset your password if you have forgotten it
- or try the Forgotten Username page to check your username if you forgot it
Not sure if you have an account with Beanie Kids already?
Simply visit the Forgotten Password page and enter your email address. If you're already a member then any current membership details will then be sent directly to your inbox. Otherwise if you're not a member then it will tell you that your email does not exist and you will need to join again.
Were you a member on the old website before the upgrade on 01/01/08?
During the changeover to our new and improved BK website, some BK Fan Club members details may have become inactive. Reasons for this include:
- not having a valid email address or no email address entered in your old account
- your old membership might not have been active or confirmed
- your old username or password details may have been invalid
To check if you are still a member please visit the Forgotten Password page. Type in your email and your details will be emailed to you. If it says that your email "does not exist" then it means your old membership is removed, so please take a few minutes to join again.

You must be a member to play the games
Before you can play the Beanie Kids games you need to be a member of the BK Online Fan Club. If you are already a member you must login first before you can play. The reason membership is required is so that your scores can be saved and you can even print special certificates if you get a Top 10 score in a game. If you are not a member click here to join.
You need a Secret Access Code to play some of the games
In March 2008 Beanie Kids introduced free codes on all new release Beanie Kids tags as a way to reward our loyal collector's. These codes unlock access to the newest and coolest online games. We recommend you visit the pages below to learn all about these codes:
- To find out more information about these secret access codes please click here
- If you bought a bear with a secret access code you can enter the code here
What if your secret access code doesn't work?
If you tried entering your secret access code and it didn't work, please read the following solutions first before contacting us:
- make sure your are entering the code correctly. Try typing it again and check that you don't have CAPS LOCK on.
- because a new game is released every month you need to make sure you have one of the latest new releases to play the newest games.
- the tag on your Beanie Kid tells you which game the code works for - but you can also click here to check which month each game was released.
if you have read the above solutions and still think there is something wrong with your access code, please contact the Beanie Master to explain the problem.
I entered my code and got an error message
You will receive an error message if you tried entering an old access code when you already have a newer one saved in your account. This is because the secret access codes are backwards-compatible, which means that new codes give you access to all the old games too. So for example if you buy a Beanie Kid in December 2008, the code will also unlock access to all previous access code games from March to November 2008. So if you get this message it just means you already have access to the latest games.

I sent in a photo for the Celebrity Competition but it's not on the website!
If you sent in a Celebrity photo and it has not appeared on the website, it could be because of one or more of the following reasons:
- the photo must contain ALL the following: a celebrity; a beanie kid fan; & a beanie kid
- the celebrity must be nationally recognizable and NOT a fictional character
- if it is a digital photo, it must be less than 500KB in file size
- you can only win once, after one of your photos is in the gallery you can't win again
- please be patient, we receive many photos and it takes a long time to check them all!
