Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation
Our June 2007 Premier Exclusive Beanie Kid has been released in recognition of Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation
The gang on Beanie Island recently had a visit from Alan Turner who is the founder of Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation and the very proud father of little Zaidee to whom the foundation is dedicated. After hearing Zaidee's inspiring story, the Beanie Kids decided that Zaidee the Rainbow Poncho Bear would be named after this very special little girl and be the awareness ambassador from Beanie Island for the foundation.
Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation is an organisation committed to creating awareness in Organ and Tissue Donation for all Australians - particularly with children under the age of 16 years. The foundation has it's own national awareness campaign called Zaidee's Rainbow Shoelaces.
Rainbows are a sign of happiness, hope, love and fortune and they were very special to Zaidee. To find out more about Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation and the story behind this committed organisation, please visit www.zaidee.org.
